Dr. Daczkowski graduated Magna Cum Laude from both Washington and Jefferson College in 1983 and then Georgetown School of Dentistry in 1987. While at Georgetown, Dr. D was inducted into the distinguished Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. He completed his Orthodontics Residency in 1995. Dr. Daczkowski began his career serving for 13 years in the United States Army as both a Dentist and then an Orthodontist. He finished his career as the Chief of Orthodontics at the United States Military Academy at WestPoint. In 2000, he opened Daczkowski Orthodontics and serves Ashburn and Manassas communities to this day. As a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Dr. Ds patients can be assured they are receiving the highest quality of care at both locations. Dr. D maintains his membership in many professional organizations to include the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association and the Northern Virginia Dental Association.
Michelle is the Operations Officer of the company working hard to ensure the practice operations are flowing efficiently. Dr. Daczkowski and his wife, Michelle, have a blended family of eight children and four grandchildren. They have been active in their childrens lives watching them grow into their own as adults. They enjoy family gatherings as often as possible and love to travel just about anywhere.
Contributing to the local community has always been a part of Dr. Ds Smiles business goals. Over the years, the practice has given to hundreds of local sports teams, charity organizations and the arts. The following is a small snapshot of the organizations he has contributed to.

I had my first appointment with Dr. "D" today and it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was 'non-rushed', and the staff was very friendly and professional. Dr. D answered all of my questions thoroughly, and I felt very comfortable with their approach and pricing. I have gained complete confidence knowing that I will be in good hands during my procedure.

Dr. D is a skilled and amazing orthodontist! He has been helping me with my smile even a decade after I got my braces off (2009 I believe is when I finished treatment) and he stands behind his work. He does not rush his patients and truly cares and wants to help. Additionally, I would say his office is clean. It seems to me he sanitizes pretty regularly and has plastic coverings over the head piece of the chairs. He has each patient hand wash before sitting down in the clean chair which I appreciate and notice. His staff are courteous, and his nurses are kind. They seem to care about concerns mentioned--mirroring Dr. D. I am very impressed and confident with Dr. D's willingness to help me over a decade later. My initial treatment ending in '09 went smoothly, and after not wearing my retainer for a bit years later, he had the knowledge and skill to advise me regarding solutions and is walking with me through the process patiently and continually. If you are deciding who to go with to straighten your teeth choose Dr D! He is the best.
