As office manager, my goal is to help insure that our great staff of professionals have all the things they need to help our patients enjoy their visit and have a successful experience at Dr Curtis H Roy & Associates DDS.
Dr. Curtis H Roy DDS is a Louisiana native, born and raised in Marksville, LA. He earned a bachelors degree from LSU in 1964 and received his dental degree from Loyola Dental School in 1968. After spending two years in the a U.S. Army as a captain in a dental unit, Dr. Roy opened a private dental practice in 1970 on Johnston Street in Lafayette, Louisiana .He has enjoyed serving the dental needs of Acadiana area residents for the last 50 years.
In the course of his career Dr. Roys shifted from surgical to non-surgical methods in treating periodontal disease. His goal is to educate patients on preserving their teeth and having healthier mouths. His Soft Tissue Management program worked so well for his patients, that he has been invited to conduct more than 1,000 continuing education seminars in the United States and Canada, teaching other dental professionals how to address their patients periodontal disease non-surgically in the office.

The staff here are very kind and caring and made me and my husband feel comfortable. I had the best dental experience in years and received a call this morning from the office to check on how I'm doing! Thank you all so much! I highly recommend this office!

Professional atmosphere & service. I would recommend Dr. David Chambers to anyone.. The staff is kind & make you as comfortable as possible. Dental hygienist Lauren did a great job at cleaning my teeth too.

Wish I could give 0 stars because this place does not even deserve 1 star. Worst dentist visit I've ever had in my life and I am 30 years old. Wanted a tooth pulled and the dentist was so sure all I needed was a filling. Within THIRTY seconds of giving me the lidocaine shot she was in my mouth trying to drill my teeth. I immediately felt shocking nerve pain as my mouth was not anywhere near close to being numb yet. This lady did not even poke at my gums first to test for numbness. Then she had the audacity to act like I was crazy for feeling pain, and proceeded to passive aggressively stab me 4 more times in the same spot with a needle, only to proceed with drilling again immediately. I STILL felt immense pain as nothing in my mouth was numb yet. At this point I was nearly having a full blown panic attack because I was sure the rest of my experience was going to be just as much of a torture session as the first few minutes. They finished the fillings and they are all very rough with sharp edges and some cracks. The filling for the worst tooth that I wanted pulled anyway broke out THAT SAME NIGHT while I was eating macaroni and cheese... Absolutely absurd. I will never give these people another red cent and this dentist should be let go. She is either too old to perform her job correctly or just doesn't care anymore. Either way, I don't wish this sort of trauma on my worst enemy. I hope this place gets shut down someday.

I had another dentist pull 2 teeth. I continued to have pain. I went to Curtis Roy &Assoc. for a 2nd opinion. I was seen very quickly. The staff was very personable. Dr. Baranco said everything looked fine. MY MOUTH STILL HURTS!!

Temporary cap fell off. Was able to make an appointment same day. Was seen immediately, friendly staff did excellent job putting cap back in, fit was comfortable. Pleased with experience.

It honestly was a great experience for my first visit until the dentist walked in. He didn't acknowledge me or introduce himself when he walked in as if I wasn't suppose to be there lol. On top of that he was rough just looking in my mouth. I refuse to trust him to do any dental work for me.

I have been a patient at the Roy clinic for over 20 years. Always received great care. Dr. Chambers primarily sees me and he is so personal and awesome. The dental assistants are very friendly and patient. The receptionists and accounting department are awesome as well always calling to check on me after procedures and making sure I accurate amounts ahead of time. Thank you thank you thank you to the staff if Dr Curtis Roy and associates!

All this place is good for is teeth cleanings. Need actual work done go somewhere else. Took them 3 time to get my crown right and charged me out the a$$. My primary dentist I usually use had to go behind this so called dentist everytime to check his work and said he could've done a lot better than these clowns. Smh
