Dr. Cristina Kuhnel is proud to bring a woman's touch to what is still a predominantly male field. As a woman she brings a female perspective to esthetic issues and a perfectionist's touch to her work. She is a graduate of the University of Florida Dental School, a graduate of the prestigious Dawson Center for comprehensive dentistry and TMD disorders, a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and an Invisalign Certified Dentist. She loves the practice of dentistry and its unique combination of science and art.

Dr. Cristina is an active member of Global Humanitarian Expeditions which is a charity that delivers free dental care to hundreds of children in third world countries. Locally, she volunteers anually for 'Christina 's Smile', a charitable organization that offers free dental care to local underserved areas by following the PGA tour.

Dr. Stephen Kuhnelstarted Gold Coast Dental Centre in 1979. It was one of the first dental offices in the area to offer bilingual services to the growing latino community. He has practiced in this area ever since, and in 2000 he proudly welcomed his daughter, Dr. Cristina Kuhnel into the practice. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry and a member ofnumerous local and national dental organizations. Over the years, Dr. Steve has continued to expand on his dental education and enjoys all facets of general dentistry but especially, oral surgery and prosthetics.

Dr. Stephen Kuhnelis an avid football fan and a life long Nebraska Cornhusker havingattended Creighton University and the University of Nebraska for his undergraduate degree. He and his wife Marta, enjoy spending time outdoors and excercising. They have three young grandchildren whom they adore andtry to spend as muchtime withas possible.
