Dr. Cris Ann Ternisky has been practicing pediatric dentistry in her hometown of McLean, Virginia for the past 20 years. She loves being able to serve in the same community she grew up in! She had the unique experience of working with her father, Dr. Mike, since she was fifteen years old. As a teenager, this early work experience helped shape and influence her career choice. She finds it exciting to see Dr. Mikes previous patients now bringing their children to the same dental practice to see her!
Dr. Cris Ann Ternisky attended West Virginia University and received a degree in biological studies in 1987. In 1991 she graduated from the school of dentistry at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond and later completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Dr. Cris has worked throughout school training with Dr. Mike since the age of fifteen. Not a stranger to his staff, she joined her fathers practice in 1993. Dr. Cris is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, and the Tysons Dental Study Club.
She is married to Dr. Mark Luposello, an orthodontist in McLean, Virginia. They are the proud parents of two children, Isabel and Mark Reid, who are currently attending Dr. Cris alma mater, Spring Hill. In her spare time, Dr. Cris enjoys reading, going to movies, eating at new restaurants and traveling with her family.
