Dr. Herman received his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2006 from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Biomedical Sciences from CSU San Bernardino. Prior to attending dental school, Dr. Herman pursued a Masters Degree in Public Health in Health Administration from Loma Linda University. He is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Diego Dental Society. To stay on top of the latest advancements, Dr. Herman regularly attends continuing education courses learning the latest techniques in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Herman is a native of Southern California and lives in Carlsbad with his wife, two daughters, and his son.
Effie graduated from Palomar College in 2003 and has worked at our office ever since. She moved to San Diego 27 years ago from Scotland, where she grew up. She now resides in North County with her husband and 3 fur babies.
Cindy graduated from the R.O.P. Dental Assisting Program in 1985. She has worked at our office for 36 years. Cindy educates patients on their dental and post op care. She also ensures patients have a pleasant and comfortable experience at our office. Cindy moved here from Hawaii in 1982 . She resides in Oceanside, has two children, and 3 granddaughters. When Cindy is not in the office, she enjoys doing crafts.
Ivana has been working at our office for over 4 years. She is a single mom of a 17-year-old daughter and a 7yr fur baby. Ivana came to the USA in 1995 and jumped into the dental field without any dental knowledge.
Tasha has been working at our office for a few months. She comes to our office with several years of dental experience from working as an assistant at an orthodontists office. When she is not cleaning teeth, she enjoys running, riding dirt bikes, and spending time with her family.
When she is not being her 3 kids personal chef, chauffeur, maid, assistant, nurse, ATM, tutor, therapist, school PTA President, pet sitter, or travel agent, Cindi enjoys quality family time and biking/motorcycling with her hubby that she met in first grade.

I have been going to this place for more years than I can count.They never disappoint. I needed Dr. Herman to look at a growth in the roof of my mouth and they were able to fit me in same day!! They are the best.

I am so happy I found this dental office; it is The Best! All the staff is friendly and helpful! Dr Herman and his outstanding staff always deliver a 5 star experience. I received a recommendation from a long term patient and from the very beginning, I was welcomed and treated with the best care and respect. I really appreciate Dr. Herman's excellent dental skills and the focus on transparency with regard to treatment plans and billing. 5 star all the way!!

First time with Dr. Herman and the staff was very attentive. He was running late and they informed me and gave me a teeth whitening kit for waiting. The x-ray person was very efficient. Dr. Herman reviewed my xrays and then examined me. Overall, pretty pleased with the office visit.

I had my teeth cleaned today by hygienist Lauren. It is the best cleaning that I have had in many years. She did a thorough job without causing pain and was a lovely person with whom to visit. She offered tips on how to more easily clean a problem area where my bone and gums have receded. Dr. Herman came in, did a dental exam and checked my x-rays. He did not recommend any unnecessary dental work. The recent restoration (filling) he did on me looks and feels good. All staff members I have met are friendly, kind and professional. Having worked as a dental assistant and hygienist for 18 years in the past, I am usually hard to please but happy to say, I am thrilled to find this wonderful dental office. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Herman's office offers quality dental care at a fair price. Dr. Herman was detailed and very personable explaining the work that was recommended and the cost involved. I would definitely recommend the entire Dr. Herman staff as one of the best offices in North San Diego County.

Dr Herman is so kind! He really cares about his patients and their teeth. This office will not rip you off or try and over sell dental treatment that isn't necessary. I have been seeing Dr Herman for years. I brought my teenager here after being told by another dentist that she needed $4000 worth of dental work. Dr Herman did a detailed exam to find that all she needed was a good teeth cleaning. Thank you Dr Herman and your wonderful team for your honesty and wonderful spirit. Can't recommend him highly enough.

It's always a pleasant experience going to this happy dental office! Dr. Herman and his entire staff are so nice and welcoming. Today I had to get a crown on a lower back tooth that had partially broken off. Of all the dentists I've gone to over the years. Dr.Herman is the absolute Best. He tells you what he is doing every step of the way. His assistant Cindy is also impressive and they work together so beautifully. The whole procedure was painless and completely stress free. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Herman and his wonderful staff! 5 Stars!!!!!
