Dr. Duncan grew up in Baytown, Texas. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 1995. He then returned to Houston to pursue his dental career, obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Dental School in 1999. While in dental school, Dr. Duncan was selected for the Health Professions Scholarship Program, and upon graduation was commissioned as a Captain in the United States Air Force. While serving in the Air Force he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency, and was stationed in Florida, Texas and Germany. Upon completing his service in the Air Force, Dr. Duncan once again returned to Houston, to further his dental training by completing a specialty training program in endodontics at the University of Texas Dental School.
Dr. Duncan remains active in the dental community at both the local and national level. He is a member of various professional organizations including the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Houston Association of Endodontists, the Ninth District Dental Association, and the University of Texas Dental Alumni Association.
In his spare time, Dr. Duncan enjoys spending time with his wife Erica and his children Madison and Parker. He also enjoys medical mission opportunities, wood-working, and classic automobile restoration.

The "office manager" Carol, is incredibly rude and condescending. I called and asked about the root canal and crown out of pocket cost. She informed me that Dr Coleman is a root canal specialist and doesn't do crowns. As I'm NOT an expert in dentistry I asked the simple question about the root canal process without crowns and initially she misheard me I'm assuming because she rudely stated, " I JUST told you he doesn't do crowns." To which I informed her that's not what I said and restated my question. She answered it and that could have been it but she felt the need to smugly add the comment, "he doesn't just let people walk out of his office with holes in their mouth". When I confronted her about her condescending and rude attitude, rather than apologize for offending me, she gets defensive. While I'm sure Dr. Coleman does excellent work, I unfortunately won't get the chance to use his services because of his unprofessional office staff.

Dr Coleman and his assistant are great! I had a root canal yesterday and it took less than 45 minutes, didn't feel a thing, and he informed me throughout the entire procedure of every strange noise and sensation that I would experience. Root canals aren't fun, but I would absolutely recommend Dr Coleman and his team.

I've had several root canals over the years by Dr. Coleman. He was best. Just had one last Wednesday . Have nothing but good things to say about him and his staff. Got 2 calls yesterday to see how i was doing from his staff. Professional, knowledgeable, kind and caring!!!

I had my first root canal with Dr. Chris Coleman. He is fantastic! and he explained everything he was going to do in terms that I could even understand. On top of that, the staff was friendly, the facilities were clean and the service was prompt. I highly recommended Dr. Chris Coleman for your endodontic care.
