Dr. Sage Humphries is a Southern California native. After graduating from Laguna Beach High School Dr. Humphries attended the University of California at Irvine where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Humphries did not stray far from home when selecting a dental school where he attended the University of California at Los Angeles. Graduating with honors from UCLA he received numerous awards for his academic and clinical performance and was elected into Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society. Subsequently, Dr. Humphries made the trek across Los Angeles to the University of Southern California where he completed three years of specialty training in orthodontics. Dr. Humphries received his Certificate of Achievement in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Craniofacial Biology from USC. Dr. Sage Humphries is well versed in all aspects of orthodontics.. Accordingly, Dr. Humphries prides himself on not only treating his patients with the utmost interest and consideration, but also providing them with the latest in cutting-edge orthodontic technology. Dr. Humphries places great importance on ensuring that all orthodontic treatment is tailored to each patients individual needs and lends his energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to each of his patients.
When not shaping sensational smiles Dr. Humphries enjoys traveling with his wife, Dr. Alene LeHumphries, also an orthodontist, and their two boys. Other hobbies include a variety of water sports, motocross, and videography
Dr. Rafla-Yuan earned his bachelors degree from Chapman University where he studied biology and chemistry and then went on to medical school at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, where he also completed a Certificate in Biomedical Ethics at the Vanderbilt Center for Biomedical Ethics and Society. He then completed residency at the University of California San Diego and served as chief resident physician of the Community Psychiatry Program, where he was responsible for clinical care, curriculum development, and the education of resident physicians, medical students, and advanced practice nursing students. He has worked with patients of all ages and a wide range of backgrounds. Dr. Rafla-Yuan is an award-winning researcher in medical psychiatry, health policy, and the social determinants of health. He has given numerous talks on a national scale and was recently awarded a large grant from the United States Department of Health and Human Services for his work tracking the impact of immigration policy on health outcomes in border communities. He has held leadership positions in the San Diego Psychiatric Society, California Psychiatric Association, and the American Psychiatric Association. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and the application of food as medicine. He is also a sommelier.

I can't say enough about Dr. Fotinos, Dr. Rosales and their staff. I came in to their office with a toothache and knowing my teeth were in bad condition I knew it wasn't going to be good. Alot of my teeth were worn down past the enamel some were chipped and very thin and fractured. Dr. Fotinos told me my options were dentures or he could try crowning alot of the teeth. I chose the crowns. It was labor intensive and more costly, but in the end he saved my teeth. I can't say enough about Dr. Fotinos's skill as a dentist. He took his time ensuring that everything would look good and more importantly function properly. I spent a lot of time in his chair. Both he and his assistant Stacy always made sure I was comfortable. My post care has been equally stellar. The hygienists have been awesome as is Dr. Rosales. The ladies that run the front office are always helpful and accommodating. If you're looking for a great dental office I highly recommend seeing Dr. Fotinos.

I have been coming here from LA for ten years because these people are the best. They truly care about their patients and are very careful with my teeth, which I appreciate. I recommend them to my friends and won't go anywhere else. They are very professional and the office manager Olga is a sweetheart too.

I absolutely LOVE this office! The staff is so friendly and so helpful. Dr. Rosales was so thorough throughout my whole visit. I needed cavities filled and although the dentist isn't my favorite place to be, him and his team made me feel so comfortable. Throughout the procedure he was explain everything to me in detail to make sure I understood what was happening and they even do before/during/and after photos which I have never had before. The office had so much positive energy and really made me feel like I knew what was going on with my teeth and financially. This office truly stands out among the rest and I'm so SO happy I have found such a great dentist & great team! Highly recommend coming and getting any dental work or just a cleaning done here

If you are looking for a new dentist, look no further! I have had two appointments with Dr. Rosales and his staff in the past three months, and they have been exceptional. At my first appointment, I was greeted by Dr. Rosales' assistant, Amy, who gave me a tour of the office and then showed me to the room where I would be receiving my care. My first appointment as a new patient was the most comprehensive dental appointment that I've ever had (in a good way!). Amy did a great job of outlining everything that we would be doing during the appointment and then I was able to meet Dr. Rosales. Dr. Rosales has excellent bedside manners and is extremely kind; we discussed goals for my oral health care and he spent a good amount of time reviewing the x-rays and photographs that they took of my teeth with me. After this, I got my teeth cleaned by one of the hygienists named Tiffany. To be quite honest, I nearly fell asleep during the cleaning since Tiffany was so gentle with my teeth. I was amazed at how clean my teeth felt given how gentle she was being - she did an excellent job. After my cleaning, Dr. Rosales came back to discuss some preventative work that recommended and made sure to review the billing information with me. Two weeks ago, I returned for the preventative work that Dr. Rosales recommended and was greeted by Amy once again! Dr. Rosales and Amy were once again extremely gentle while working on my teeth, and as soon as we completed the procedure I immediately noticed a difference in my teeth! Dr. Rosales showed me "before" and "after" photos of my teeth and once again highlighted why it was important for me to have this preventative work done. Dr. Rosales and his staff are truly focused on providing quality health care. In a world where it seems like most doctors are focused on how many patients they can see and how much revenue they can generate, Dr. Rosales and his staff differentiate themselves by truly taking the time to get to know you, making you feel at home, understanding your goals for your health care, reviewing all of your test results with you, and explaining why they would recommend having additional procedures/work done. I don't think that I've ever looked forward to going back to the dentist for my next cleaning so much in my entire life!

As always, I had an amazing experience. My hygienist, Tiffany, was incredible. Not only is she friendly and informative, but her technique was pain-free; by far, the most comfortable dental experience I've had. I highly recommend Dr. Rosales and Dr. Fotinos - outstanding doctors and staff!!

My daughter decided that she no longer wanted to be seen by a kids dentist and decided to join me at Dr. Fotinios'. We decided to have her see Dr. Rosales. Dr. Rosales and his assistant were VERY kind and gentle to my daughter (who was very nervous). My daughter left with a smile on her face after having two cavities filled. She said she felt no pain and "coolly" said the experience was no big deal. :-) Thanks for the good care.

I paid a lot of money to be to be subjected to even more pain than when I came in - I left feeling worse and regretted having paid to be tortured. I've never had this bad of an experience to fix a cavity. With such a horrible experience I'd expect at least a follow-up from the dentist, but that wasn't the case. Needless to say, I won't be going back.

I have been going to Dr. Fontinos and Dr. Rosales for over 2 years now and love the services they provide. They recently provided me exceptional service when I had an emergency tooth ache which turned into a root canal, and molar removal. They fit me in same day and Dr. Rosales and Amy Shaw stayed after hours to make sure I was taken care of. Olga of coursed helped during the whole process as well and made sure I was taken care of, she is the best! The dental hygienist are amazing too, I went to Christina Tran and she was so gentle and explained everything. I highly recommend it here if you want to be taken care of. Thank you all again!

I love this office, Adriana was great at helping me fill out my paperwork and setting up my next appointment. I came in for a cleaning and the hygienist Christine was very gentle and was friendly. my mouth felt amazing afterward. This has to be the best office I've been to in al my years.

Dr.Fotinos office has the most professional amazing staff ever! 5 stars does not do them justice. They went above and beyond to exceed my needs! I am so glad I found them and found my new dentist! Best dentist office I have ever been to, the whole staff was so welcoming. The hygienist Lanette was great at explaining the deep cleaning I needed. Dr.Rosales was very thorough in explaining all the treatment I needed and even reviewed my X-rays with me I have never had a dentist do that. The front office Adriana and Olga both helped me with breaking down my treatment plan and explaining my insurance benefits. Amazing office and staff!

Charged me too much and my crown keeps coming off. Every time I go I have to pay more and the crown wouldn't last a month. Office staff are not helpful at all. The office itself is nice but if you are willing to pay so much I am pretty sure there are better dentists. All in all, I am down a couple of thousands and my tooth was not fixed.
