Dr. Christopher J. Dollar was born in Metro Detroit. He spent his early years in Huntington Woods before moving to Troy. He earned a Biochemistry degree from Central Michigan University in 1995, and received his doctorate from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2007. After graduating, Dr. Dollar was an Associate at multiple group practices inClinton Township, Shelby and Clarkston. While an Associate, Dr. Dollar envisioned what brand of dentistry he would like to practice. Fortunately, he found Berkleys Dr. Roger Black DDS and developed a strong working relationship with him.
Dr. Dollars brand of dentistry focuses on trust and family. He is committed to the team, and sees his team as an extension of his own family. He focuses on the strengths of his team, andbelieves time spent together should involve talking, listening and laughing.
Dr Dollar is an advocate of continuing education, for both himself and his team. He is an active member in several organizations, including, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Macomb-Oakland Dental Association, United States Dental Institute and the Berkley Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Dollar has been married for20 years and has two boys. In his free time he enjoys being with friends, family and spending time outdoors. He has become an avid runner, participating in multiple charity events.

My husband is a Systems Engineer and we have been married for 26 years. We enjoy traveling (especially cruises) and raising many cat 'kids' through the years. I personally enjoy gardening, reading and a variety of crafting projects.
The rewarding experiences of my career have been developing wonderful relationships with the patients. My goal has always been to educate them on the important issue of good dental health and keeping their teeth for a lifetime.
I have been in the dental field since I was 18 years old. I was a Dental Assistant for 10 years before I went to dental hygiene school. I thoroughly enjoy what I do and love helping people and developing relationships with patients.
Sharon has been with the practice forover 20 years. She is a long time resident of Berkley where she raised three beautiful daughters.Her spare time involvesspending time with family, donatingto the church andwatchinga play at the local theater.
Our newest team member who has been in the dental field off and on since high school. She lives in the local community and has three grown children.When not working she can be found traveling around Michigan with her husband and their Golden Retriever, Stella.

Our family has been going to Dr Dollar's office for several years now. The office staff is friendly and caring as well as the dental hygienists while gently reminding us to floss more!

He is fantastic! Best doctor I've ever had. His staff is very friendly. He never runs late, so you won't have to sit for an hour before you see him. I highly recommend.

I have had such bad luck with dentists in the past couple of years which has made me DREAD going to the dentist. But this changed after I went to Dr. Dollar. Right when I came in, his staff of around 5 people were so friendly and there was such a great energy! When I met Dr. Dollar, he was so warm and genuinely wanted to know about me. He also fixed a tooth that had been giving me trouble from my previous awful dentist. I felt so comfortable there to find a place where people love their jobs and do a great job as well! I HIGHLY recommend this place!
