Dr. Christopher H. Nguyen received his Doctor of Dental Medicine at Boston University Henry Goldman School of Dentistry in 1992, General Practice Residency at LA/County USC Medical Center in 1993, and Certificate in Orthodontics along with a Master in Dentistry from 1993-1996. He also received outstanding award from International College of Dentistry and honors from Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He also attended master course from world renown orthodontist Richard McLaughlin and Invisalign Master course.
Besides constantly studying and learning the latest technologies and trends in orthodontics, his hobbies include golfing, running (he completed the Disneyland, Surf City and OC Half Marathon), attending sporting events, and of course, spending quality time with my daughter.
Another huge part of his life that is important to him is giving back to those in need. After two years of participating in a charitable group making annual trips to Vietnam to perform general dentistry, Dr. Nguyen was inspired to establish his own foundation. Alongside with his friend and colleague Dr. Ratner, who is an oral maxilla-facial surgeon, theyestablished their own charitable foundation in 2006 called Open Heart. Since 2006, the Open Heart team has travelled each year to Vietnam to performed cleft lip and palate surgeries and jaw reconstruction to the under-served population in Vietnam.
Dr. Christopher Nguyen opened his orthodontic practice in July 1997. At our practice, we believe that serving every patient is a privilege. This is why each patient is treated as an individual and treatment is always carefully based on each patients specific needs.
Our office works regularly to remain current with the latest technology, but every treatment we do is evidence-based and never anectdotal. Because time is of the essence in todays society, our team is sensitive to patient waiting time, which we work to minimize.We are focused on providing our patients with the best possible experience while striving to achieve a harmonious smile both in function and aesthetics.
