In practice since 1981, Dr. Joy combines experience with a passion for excellence. He and his seasoned team strive to provide the best possible care in a comfortable and fun environment. Dr. Joy has extensive experience in full mouth reconstruction providing the best esthetic and functional outcomes. He continually strives to improve his knowledge and skills by pursuing post-graduate continuing education in all aspects of aesthetic and restorative dentistry, averaging 150 hours a year.
Dr. Joy and his dental assistant Cammie enjoy volunteering at CDA Cares which provides dental services at no charge to an average of 1,950 people at each event. CDA Cares serves as a safety net for many people needing relief from the pain and infection of untreated dental disease. It is a very worthwhile and fulfilling cause.
In his spare time, Dr. Joy enjoys playing recreational and competitive tennis, squash, skiing, and hiking. Photography is a passion he shares with his patients by displaying his National Geographic quality photos on monitors in the office.

Dr. Joy has been taking excellent care of my teeth for many years. Recently I had an accident and chipped one of my front teeth. He was able to repair it and you would never know it had been chipped! A miracle! I am so thankful!

I am a Professor of Physics and a patient of Dr. Christopher Joy. I managed to break one of my front teeth in December 2002. When Dr. Joy looked at it, it was clear that we have a problem of a very unusual kind, because not much remained of the tooth. It took several months of his work in parallel with his daughter Adrienne from Joy Orthodontics, and now I can finally smile again. I am very impressed by the quality of their work. Chris is a charming and highly intelligent person, with a passion to photography, which I share, and I think that he takes personal pride in the way my teeth look now after these procedures. I am very happy to recommend Chris and Adrianne, they make a great team!

Great group! Chris and his crew do a remarkable job. The level of care and service is fantastic. Chris is part artist, part scientist, part engineer. What he does is masterful, and combined with his talented and diverse support staff, you feel very well taken care of. Can't say enough good things. Every time I visit, I'm amazed. What Chris has has done to transform my smile deserves an award, which is probably why the office is filled with displayed awards (and clients with happy smiles). He is the man and his crew supports him with fantastic care and dedication!

Outstanding attention to patient care at every level of the team. Had an event over the weekend that disrupted previous veneer restoration. The after hour call back was incredibly supportive and setting up an appointment for Monday morning with Dr. Joy was able to quickly recovering aesthetic appearance and longer term corrective plan.

Personnel are very careful with protective coverings to protect the patient. Protocol includes taking temperatures and O2 blood saturations, alcohol based hand washings & then washing again before & after with soap and water. Dr. Joy and his staff are always very thorough in caring for my teeth and, indeed the entire mouth. We have been patients of Dr. Hoffman and then Dr. Joy for over 44 years. Wouldn't go anywhere else. An update as of 09/21/21: Not doing the double hand washing or O2sat., but all other precautions in place. Staff are bundled up in all sorts of gear for the protection of all. The blanket & pillow were a nice touch for patient comfort. An update as of 3/22/22: Many safety precautions still in place. My five star recommendation is as firm as ever.
