Dr. Henson attended University of South Carolina from 1984 to 1988 where she received her Bachelors degree in psychology. She then attended the University of Louisville, KY for Dentistry from 1991-1995. For over 20 years, Dr. Henson has been passionate about providing superior care for her dental patients and specializes in preventative cleaning, cosmetic dentistry, and restorations.
Whether you need to treat a cavity, cover a tooth with a crown, have partial dentures made, or have missing teeth replaced with a fixed bridge, Dr. Henson can help. Restorative dentistry is very effective and particularly important in maintaining healthy teeth. If problems are addressed early on, we can restore your teeth back to good health and full function.
A composite filling will remove the decayed part of the tooth and will be the same color as your tooth, to keep visible areas looking healthy and good as new. Another common restoration is a crown (or cap) that covers your entire tooth to protect and restore the tooth to its original size and shape. A crown is needed if a filling cannot restore the tooth fully. Crowns are also available in the color of your tooth to provide a more natural looking smile.

Let me start by saying that I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Henson to everyone in search of a dentist! Everyone in the office, from Chrissy @ the front desk to Julie, the hygienist, was extremely professional, caring, understanding & reassuring. I am having a lot of dental issues that have caused me to avoid going to the dentist b/c I have been embarrassed. Dr. Henson and her staff made me feel so comfortable and reassured me that we would address everything needed. Dr. Henson has such a warm and caring bedside manner. I truly did not feel as though I was "just a number". She took the time to sit with me and discuss all my concerns, and I left my appt. feeling reassured. I would def. recommend Dr. Henson for adults and children!

I'm so glad I found Dr. Henson. Her practice is awesome. They're very professional, easygoing and personable. They do not overbook patients, so you don't have long lines waiting. Every time I've gone I've gotten in on time or even sooner. She doesn't try to sell you things you don't need like other dentists in the area. I highly recommend this practice to everyone.

Well, the first appointment was OK except the front desk lady kept messing up my kids name on file! I kept my cool (of course).. Then, came the second appointment that I made which was for my youngest child for a baby tooth extraction. I explained to them over the phone many times about my concerns and what the previous dentist stated that was needed to be done. Came to the appt and they completely forgot what I even talked about. It would be so much better if they just actually read through the notes they take (IF they took any notes) prior to seeing a patient and actually make sure the front desk lady is doing her job by writing the patients concern down! Or even contact the previous doctor's office for an explanation to avoid any confusion. Overall, the appointment for this 2nd time around was a fail! I called on Friday (last week 6.15.18) to speak to the front desk but went straight to voicemail so I left a voicemail. I called 1-2 more times before their office closed even after I left a voicemail. And still, no call back was received. It's now MONDAY, 6.18.18 (End of Day), and they have YET to return my call!! I will look for a new dentist instead. I cannot deal with this kind of customer service! They can't even tend to the parents & patients needs or phone calls!! The office was small. Parents with toddlers or children should avoid this place because you can't really sit in the operation room. Why? Because they don't even have a chair available for the parents to sit in. VERY VERY SMALL.

Friendly and kindhearted, she's firmly in touch with the human element of her practice, always displaying an understanding bedside manner and a willingness to explain procedures in plain English. Partial plates... restorations... cavity fillings... preventive cleanings... dental maintenance. Dr. Henson and her staff always live up to their "more than a number" reputation. Specifically, Dr. Henson's expert work on my teeth over the past year has resulted in a huge improvement in my oral health, both medically and cosmetically. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Henson and her staff. They are patient, direct, and very understanding, especially if you are nervous or afraid. She is honest and upfront about the treatment plan she recommends and will listen to any concerns you have about it. Being a RN, I know how important it is for your clients to feel comfortable about their care. I recommend her highly for any dental service that you may need.
