Dr. Reger has been practicing dentistry since 2005. He is well qualified to perform a variety of dental procedures for a wide range of patients. Incredible Smiles of Texas is like his second home, as well as a place to do something that hes passionate about: help people love their smiles. Some of his awards and accomplishments include:

Are chipped or worn down teeth keeping you from showing off your smile? By placing custom-crafted porcelain veneers on your teeth, our San Antonio dental team can give you a smile that you'll be proud to reveal to the world. Dr. Chris Reger has helped many patients conceal cracks, chips, discoloration, and other cosmetic flaws with natural-looking porcelain veneers, giving them beautiful, healthy-looking smiles that will last for years with proper care.

Almost anyone that has cosmetically flawed teeth but is otherwise in good oral health will be a suitable candidate for porcelain veneers. If you have periodontal disease or are suffering from tooth decay, those dental issues may need to be addressed before you can be considered an appropriate candidate for porcelain veneers.

During your third visit to our cosmetic dentistry practice, your custom porcelain veneers will be placed on your teeth. Before bonding them into place, Dr. Reger will check to ensure that they fit properly and blend in seamlessly with your surrounding natural teeth. If adjustments need to be made, they will be made at this point. Next, your teeth will be cleaned and etched to achieve a good bonding surface. The porcelain veneers will then be permanently bonded to your teeth, and you will have a beautiful new smile!

Although they rarely occur, there are some potential risks associated with porcelain veneers. Some of the potential risks include heightened tooth sensitivity, potential decay of the veneers if not cared for well, and the possibility that the veneers could become dislodged. These risks can be minimized by maintaining a good oral hygiene regimen and by not chewing on ice, pen caps, and other hard objects that could damage the veneers.

With traditional braces, every time you smile, the world will know that you're undergoing orthodontic treatment. Fortunately, you have an alternative - a clear alternative - in revolutionary Invisalign clear braces at our San Antonio dental practice. At Incredible Smiles of Texas, Dr. Chris Reger can help you discreetly and effectively straighten your teeth and restore both beauty and health to your smile with Invisalign braces.

Patients that have to deal with underbites, overbites, overlapping, jaw misalignment, overcrowding, gaps, and other teeth alignment issues will more than likely be good candidates for Invisalign braces. In general, Invisalign is an attractive option to those who may feel self-conscious about using traditional metal braces. As long as the patient has generally healthy teeth and their molars have fully erupted, Invisalign is a fine option to consider for teeth straightening.

During your treatment, you will wear your aligners for at least 22 hours a day. One of the chief benefits of Invisalign treatment, however, is that you will be able to remove your aligners for brushing, flossing, and eating. This means that, unlike those who undergo treatment with metal braces, you will not face any dietary restrictions during your treatment. You will also be able to practice your regular oral hygiene regimen more easily.

For the right candidates, there is virtually no risk associated with Invisalign treatment. Certain cases of misalignment may not respond as well to Invisalign, in which case Dr. Reger may recommend an alternative orthodontic treatment.

Even if your teeth are healthy and straight, they could still be missing that extra visual appeal if they aren't as white as they could be. At Incredible Smiles of Texas, we can transform dull or discolored smiles through teeth whitening at our San Antonio practice. Dr. Chris Reger uses a state-of-the-art teeth whitening system to produce exceptional, natural-looking results that last for years with proper care.

Most people who are in good oral health but who have teeth that are discolored or dull will be good candidates for teeth whitening. Those with sensitive teeth may not be suitable candidates as the treatment could aggravate their condition. Likewise, teeth whitening is not recommended for patients with periodontal disease, tooth decay, or other serious oral health issues. Teeth with yellow-toned stains typically respond best to the procedure.

We understand that our patients have busy schedules, and squeezing in time at the dentist may be a hassle to some, so we provide an option for at-home teeth whitening. Our practice offers take-home whitening kits that are far more effective than over-the-counter kits.

As with any other procedure, there are some potential risks associated with teeth whitening. The two most common side effects of teeth whitening are increased tooth sensitivity and tissue irritation. These risks are usually temporary, however, and generally subside within a couple of days.
