Dr. Chen grew up in Northern Virginia and received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Virginia. He attended the University of Washington School of Dentistry in Seattle and graduated in 1994. After passing the dental board exams in four regions, he furthered his dental training in a two year residency at the Unversity of Maryland Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident in his second year.
Dr. Chen far exceeds his yearly requirement for continuing education and has attained the status of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He also has served as clinical faculty for the University of Maryland Dental School at their hospital clinic and is a former dentist for the Baltimore Ravens.
Dr. Amy Lee was born in Korea and grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. She earned her doctorate of dental surgery degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Dentistry. Prior to dental school, she attended the University of Maryland in College Park with a major in Cellular and Molecular Biology.
Dr. Alice (Min Kyung) Kim was born in Korea, and grew up in New Zealand and Canada. She obtained her Bachelor of Science (major in Pharmacology) and Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. She then furthered her training with a General Practice Residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in Bronx, NY.
Dr. Kim was also involved with community outreach work, as a volunteer as well as an outreach coordinator. She was awarded a leadership award for her community involvement. Her gentle personality and approach to dentistry have helped many patients overcome their dental anxiety.

We will be more than happy to submit all insurance forms for you and help you recover the most from your benefits. We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card.

What more can I say about this practice. Is very professional, very accurate, Very meticulous About the care they put forth to their patients. I could not imagine going anywhere else . I've been to other practices in the past Where I was just a number. I would not recommend this practice if they didn't take Great Care of me and my family.

My visits to Dr..Chen's office always start with a kind greeting and warm smile from those behind the front desk.The office and the operatoriums are filled with the latest high tech equipment and sanitized to the hilt. My appointment time is alway close to being on the button and those who perform the services do so in an smooth and expeditious fashion. I've been a patient for almost 20 years ! I've visited many dental offices during my 70 plus years and consider Dr. Chen's practice as close to being incomparable as can be.

I had a very pleasant first visit with Dr. Gupta and her team. They were extremely professional and competent, but also kind. Dr. Gupta did a very thorough examination and carefully explained all of her findings. She explained each procedure and why she was conducting it. I will definitely recommend this practice.

Dr. Chen & Associates is the best medical/dental office I have been to. I have been going there for over a decade now. Everyone is so pleasant and helpful. Dr. Chen is very professional and knowledgeable but also down to earth and personable. Beth is an amazing dental hygienist. Great to talk to, non-judgemental, and leaves my mouth feeling cleaner than anyone else that I have seen. Definitely recommend this office!
