To become the model of excellence for community-based primary care, and to act as a catalyst to promote health, prevent disease and address socioeconomic factors that adversely affect health, as an integral member of the community.

BSFHC provides health services to the neediest residents in North and Central Brooklyn. Despite these barriers, the communities we serve are resilient and filled with community pride.

Today, BSFHC is recognized as a provider-of-choice for delivering quality health care in Brooklyn. We have strong partnerships with patients and families to help them take control of their care to manage their conditions, achieve personal goals, and attain optimum health. We provide the highest quality care to patients across the lifecycle. Our interdisciplinary team of providers and staff work cooperatively to provide a full complement of preventative, primary, specialty and behavioral care, as well as other supportive and enabling services.

I am STILL waiting to be seen. I have already been waiting 1.5 hours. Only had X-rays done and they don't do cleanings on same day as exam. But honestly with all the wait I should have gotten a cleaning instead of sitting in chair for 30 minutes doing nothing. Havent seen doctor yet but I'm already disappointed. Drowsy attendent just told me I will be seen soon but that's not enough. Soon it will be 2 hours that I have been here. I will say Dr. Will was apologetic and acknowledged how it wasn't a good impression for a new patient. The exam was quick and I will go back hopefully wait time will be more reasonable.

The first visit was an emergency, and I saw the dentist within an hour. The second was a scheduled appointment to follow-up. I arrived :45 minutes early for my 11:00a.m. because I work in Harlem & thought getting there early may work in my favor. It did not. Midday rolled around & nothing. It was 12:38 when I decided to leave. An hour & :38 minutes. Second visit was the same. I was seated in the dental chair at 12:20 while the dentist was with another client. I waited ten minutes & left. No doubt it would be two hours of waiting. If you got all day to sit for a dentist, this is the place for you.
