Dr Scruggs put 3 implants in my upper left side dr carmin put the teeth on. The back tooth was very oversized and fell out. One other the tooth and abutment cam off and eventually the implant came through my gum in which left me with one that was put in so crooked could not be used by my new dentist and had to be removed. Dr Scruggs gave me an estimate of 29,000.00 to put me 6 more implants with no deduction of his failed work. Needless to say I went elsewhere and I am totally satisfied with Karen at Texas dental in progresso Mexico for 8000.00 did what Dr. Scruggs wanted 29,000.00 If you are considering this work done you should do research on the very qualified dentist/surgeon at Texas dental named Karen, you will not believe just how great they really are at a considerable lower cost. Oh and thank you very much Dr. Scruggs

We had an emergency situation yesterday. Dr Scruggs and his staff made the experience a great one. We are so thankful our retired dentist referred us to Dr. Scruggs. He is truly amazing.

I have an extreme phobia of dental offices with 2 horrible experiences in the past. Its been over 10 years since I last saw a dentist but with a broken tooth and severe pain I needed to see someone. I was referred to Dr. Scruggs and his team immediately helped to put my anxiety at ease and we're very professional. Dr. Scruggs called me that same day to check on me post op and then one of his staff the next day. With my experience in this office I am less anxious and will be returning for additional care.

We agreed to extract one tooth but leave the one in front of it as I had root canals and crowns on both. While I was under he took them both. Without my permission or Concert. Yes he pulled an extra tooth. Then forgot to put in bone graft for future posts. So later that day I had to return be cut back open and have the graft installed. Tried to Peruse litigation but it was to costly to proceed;((.

Scruggs has horrendous bedside manner that will leave you in stitches, and not in a good way. Don't complain or act hurt because he will get abusive. Staff is rude and walks around in XS Scrubs that don't fit. Crystal was the only saving grace. In closing if you wanna be in a horror movie Scruggs is the dentist for you.

Dr Scruggs is very competent, calming and a nice guy. I trust him with my family's and my oral surgery needs. I also send my patients to him.

One word describes Dr. Scruggs.. Amazing!! After putting off getting my wisdom teeth removed for over 20 years and 3 set appts with other Oral Surgeons, I knew I found the perfect Oral Surgeon to finally get it done. He put my anxiety to ease and assured me I was in good hands. He's been in the business a very long time as well. I am now 2 weeks post removal and never got a dry socket and had very little pain. If you are like me and putting it off.. this is the surgeon for you. I can tell you my headaches are finally gone as well. Thank you Dr. Scruggs!

Dr Scruggs has a very down to earth, friendly manner....puts you at ease. Explains what he will be doing and asks if there are any questions before beginning the procedure.Would recommend him highly! AA plus in my book.

I have had nothing but an excellent professional experience with the physician and staff. Regina, Crystal and Cristina were all very nice and professional. The were all very informative and were at my side when needed and answered any question I had. Dr. Scruggs is very professional and straight to the point. He even called me after hours to check on me and inquire if I had any issues regarding my medication. He also informed me how to take them and to feel free to call him if I have any questions or issues. His office also called the next day to make sure I was doing well and if I had any questions/concerns. Over all highly satisfied, I would highly recommend this physician and facility.

Had a little fear about having all four wisdom teeth pulled, but the moment Dr. Scruggs walked in it was an amazing experience. His staff was excellent, upbeat and very knowledgeable. If you didn't 5 star this team at Gulf Coast it's probably you personally just having a bad day which is understandable! Dr. Scruggs and his staff absolutely provided me A1service and I'm writing this 8hrs after my oral surgery.

I was so thankful my dentist referred me to Dr. Scruggs. He was very personable and to say I was scared would be an understatement but he and his staff put my worries at ease. I would highly recommend to anyone needing dental surgery. I felt like they were literally done with everything in 30 minutes!

I've always been scared of the dentist. As a person who had never had a surgery before getting my wisdom teeth out, I am happy to say that my experience with the whole staff at Dr. Scruggs office was amazing. The kindness I was treated with from everyone is beyond what I could've wished for. Dr. Scruggs is awesome, kind and makes you feel like no matter the problem you're going through, HE can help. And I'm thankful for all of them. White coat syndrome is a thing of the past for me thanks to these folks.
