Worst dentist ever. No one ever returns your phones calls, no email, phone or text confirmation about appts. I called the office at 10am to get confirmation time of appt and no one ever called back so I called the office at 3:30pm for them to tell me the office is closed and to call back tomorrow which is supposed to be the day of my appt. Horrible service and staff

I was sent to Dr. New because I was having vague discomfort in one of two teeth. My dentist felt it could have been slow nerve death and wanted Dr. New to see me for a possible root canal. The dental technician took an xray and the doctor advised me that no root canal was needed. We discussed other possible reasons for my discomfort and made a few helpful suggestions. I am a nurse and I'm used to dealing with doctors and I like to think that I am good at reading them. Simply put, he has integrity. It would have been very easy for him to do the work and get paid by my insurance company. He did not. Instead he was honest and sent me on my way. I've suffered longstanding anxiety when it comes to dentists. He was super sweet and friendly. Nothing " scary " about him!

Dr. New and his office staff are incredible. They really care about their patients, and they make you feel as if you're their only patient. My late wife was worried about having a root canal, and Dr. New was very kind and let me come back and hold her hand during the procedure. That's the mark of a professional and caring dentist

I came in today for the first part of a root canal. Dr New and his assistant Penny were so sweet. Nobody likes a trip to the dentist, but they made me feel comfortable and made sure I understood what was going on and what to do afterwards. Also, the upbeat 50's music playing was a good distraction from the drill in my mouth

Dr.New is very professional and very kind him and his staff, they make feel very relaxed and comfortable before and after treatment. The whole environment is just laid back and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Charles New.

Unfortunately, I can not reply to Dr. New's reply to my one star rating. Apparently he remembered my visit after 4 years, even though he never referred me to anyone for anything. I wonder how the other 5 patients sitting in the office at 4:30 would feel if they knew he denied the fact that they were there. Dr. Robinette found the crack with a 3-D scan. He, unfortunately, would do nothing about the fact my symptoms returned after the extraction and proceeded to do terrible work for my dentures. Dr. New also didn't mention the great review I gave my dentist in HIckory that not only found the infection that had spread to the top of my palate in my mouth but helped me in every way he could to correct it. Unfortunately because the infection was left in for so long it has taken hold and probably will never be corrected. Again, that comes from a dentist that is too busy to care. I guess his golf time at 3 was interrupted by all the patients and it put him in a foul mood. As for the others reviews I left, they were honest and Jason's Deli reached out to me and took measures to correct the incident. I applaud Jason's Deli for their professional response. Dr . New never got any follow up because he didn't refer me to anyone. His response to me that day was...."Why are you here!?!" and told me the tooth was fine. So please go to a dentist that has a CBCT and isn't so busy they can't take time to help you. This review is to help those that, like me, have suffered enough. Dr. New plays golf after 3. Please make your appointment with someone that doesn't play golf during office hours.

I was referred to Dr New by my dentist for problems with a root canal. I didn't want to go there but he insisted. Got there at 4:30 to find five people waiting to see him. Another came in as I sat there....another referral. They lady sitting beside me raised her eyebrows and ,"another one?!" When I got back to him he insisted on taking more x rays eventhough I had just had them at the other office. He was hateful and asked why I was there. Started hatefully ...that the was nothing wrong with my tooth and then charged me for nothing. I went to another dentist that had a CBCT and they found the crack and later found infection deep in the bone. Do not go here. He is rude, too busy, lacks proper equipment and is one of the most unprofessional people I ever dealt with.

Everyone in the office to Dr New where very cordial and professional, I had a Root Canal done inside of a Crowned tooth and was a extremely nervous about the pain but Dr New's Asst Penny and Dr New made me feel relaxed and informed thru the entire process and never really felt any pain at all. I even received a follow up call the following day. I've found my new Ortho Dr and I'll recommend everyone I know to him. Thank's everyone at Dr, New DDS & Endodontics

Second root canal with Dr New. He and staff are always very pleasant and prompt. The anticipation is always worse than the procedure for me as there was minimal pain and discomfort. I highly recommend him and will return if I ever need another procedure.

I would like to say that I highly recommend Dr New, he did a root canal on my mother. She has Alzheimer's and still able to communicate some but not much. They worked outstanding with her and allowed me by following all Covid protocols, to sit back with her at the appt to help any with any communication needed. I'm so thankful we found someone we can use for any future needs. Thank you Dr New and a big shout out to you and your phenomenal team!!!! Would give 10 stars if I could!

Being in the Dental profession for 35 years I can truly attest to Dr New's superior level of professionalism and attention to detail during my first root canal. He has the innate ability to make you feel at ease and let you know what is going on at all times. He made my first experience wonderful!
