Dr. Chandra Kodey, is a University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) trained board-certified General, Cosmetic and Implant Dentist. She is passionate about practicing Dentistry as both science and art.

Dr. Kodey has the unique ability to relate to her patient's dental health and has earned a reputation for creating beautiful smiles. Dr. Kodey has a Bachelors in Dental Surgery (BDS) from CODS, India and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Kodey has been practicing General, Cosmetic and Implant dentistry in the San Francisco-Bay Area since 2006.

Dr. Kodey and her staff is great. Honestly, i am always super scared of Dentists due to my past experiences and I never got things done properly. However, Dr. Kodey is extremely great and easy when dealing with sensitive patients. I got my first major procedure, that included Deep Cleaning, root extraction for multiple teeth, done with her and it was very very comfortable for me. I did not feel any pain during or after the procedure. I would very strongly recommend Dr. Kodey and her staff. I am definitely going to continue going there for my upcoming procedures.

Dr. Kodey is terrific! Before finding Dr. Kodey, I used to dread going to the dentist because I've had so many horrible incidents, but Dr. Kodey is just a wonderful person and an even better dentist! She makes sure to walk me through everything she is seeing with my teeth, and she has never performed any procedure that wasn't absolutely necessary. In fact, after decades of terrible dentists, and plenty of poor teeth management on my part, I haven't had a cavity in several years, which used to be unheard of for me! I have Dr. Kodey to thank for this!

Everyone at the practice s friendly, efficient, and seems genuinely intent on you having a good experience. Dr Kodey has a wonderful chairside manner, and looks for the very best solution, even if that means sending you to a different specialist. My hygienist, Michelle, was efficient, gentle, and very educational as far as what I should be doing better, etc.

Update: My second experience was not so great. It turns out that Dr. Kodey only does the cleaning herself for new patients; as a returning patient, I was mostly just seen by a hygienist, with a brief glance from another dentist (not Dr. Kodey). The care I got on this second visit was mediocre at best. While I'd still recommend Dr. Kodey herself as a dentist, I am not sure that I would recommend her practice for routine cleanings where she does not actually participate. Original post: Great first experience with Dr. Chandra Kodey, after multiple recommendations from friends. I felt very comfortable and well taken care of, which has not always been my experience with dentists. Dr. Kodey does the cleanings herself (with help from a hygienist), and struck a great balance between clear explanations / suggestions without seeming to push any unnecessary dental work. Looking forward to my next visit here!

Dr Kodey is the best dentist that has performed work on my teeth in thirty years. She has a genuine sincere concern for her patients well being during any procedure. She is very patience and pays attention to detail with communication while conducting procedures. During my procedure I felt no pain whatsoever. Nobody likes to go to the dentist, but Dr Kodey was able to make my visit a pleasant experience. I would high recommend her.
