Dr. Caryn Miller, recognized again as one of the Top Periodontists in New Jersey by her peers, was born and raised in Livingston, New Jersey. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and has been in practice for 25 years. Her dental education includes a degree with high honors in Dental Hygiene from Northwestern University. She then attended UMDNJ Dental School in New Jersey where she received her dental and then postgraduate degree in Periodontics.
Dr. Miller continues to lecture around the state at various study clubs and dental residency programs. She has incorporated dental implants as a treatment modality since the late 80's. Dr. Miller finds performing periodontal cosmetic procedures very rewarding. These types of treatment now available are a major component of her esthetic practice.
Dr. Miller was a Clinical Associate Professor for over 20 years at UMDNJ. She teaches dental residents at Overlook Hospital. Dr. Millerstarteda Spear Study Club to collaborate with other dentists to discuss treatment planning and latest techniques to better serve our patients.
Maribeth Clement is the dental hygienist for the office of Caryn F. Miller, DMD. Maribeth began her employment in this practice 20 years ago. Maribeth graduated from Union County College with an AAS degree in Dental Hygiene and also received her BS degree in Health Care Education from Rutgers University. Maribeth is a favorite among the patients in this practice due to her upbeat, friendly personality and gentle touch. She enjoys working in a periodontal practice, educating her patients and helping them to achieve optimum periodontal health. When not at work, Maribeth enjoys spending time with her husband and sons.
Our team is full of diverse and enjoyable personalities. Everyone works as hard as they can to create an organized, enjoyable, and welcoming workplace. When I'm not at work I love being outdoors, especially in the summer. I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina, so I also speak Spanish!
Rob is our Office Manager. He is your point of contact in the practice, ready to answer your questions. After studying Business at the University of Miami, Rob spent the past 10 years working as a software consultant for investment banks in NYC. Born and raised in New Providence, he is excited to return to a familiar neighborhood. In his free time, Rob pursues his love of music, playing saxophone and guitar.

Dr Miller and her hygienist Beverly are wonderful. We've been seeing Dr Miller for more than two decades. Dr Miller is a supremely skilled periodontist . She has performed several gum procedures on us over the years. Minimal pain or bleeding and no swelling. The waiting area and treatment rooms are attractive, clean and comfortable.

Beverly, my hygienist, was wonderful. Excellent communication, soft touch, thorough and couldn't ask for better. Dr. Miller accommodated me on schedule. She gave me her undivided attention and also gave me precise and clear observations and laid out our periodontal road map for the coming year. I am very happy to be a patient of this practice and my gums will be healthy and thankful too!

I have been coming to Dr. Miller for almost 20 years. She and her staff are amazing. Her work is the best!!! She is kind, informative and truly cares about her patients. MaryBeth has been cleaning my teeth for almost as long too. She is wonderful too! She does an amazing job, caring and informative as well. The office staff is professional and helpful especially with insurance information. You can not go wrong with Dr. Miller.

After three periodontal surgeries, I wholeheartedly recommend this periodontist and her practice. Her work is saving my lower teeth! Each time I have healed well. Although not the reason why I did it, she has improved my smile with these repairs. She and her staff take good care of you and usually follow up the day of significant work to make sure you are ok. The team is professional and takes the time needed with each patient. Post-procedure visits are done well, and in short, I am very grateful she was recommended to me. Free parking is on the street in front of the office. I have never had a problem finding a space, and usually can leave the car under a tree for shade! If you need a periodontist, Dr. Miller is a great choice.

I have over the past years entrusted Caryn Miller DMD, the dental hygienist MaryBeth and other staff members with my dental care. I have been hesitant with my follow-up dental appointments in the height of the coronavirus pandemic. I have returned to Dr. Miller's office. I am appreciative of their continued standard of care, cleanliness and professionalism.

Dr Miller and her team are the best - extremely competent, concerned for patients' comfort, never rushed, and low anxiety. After a series of gum surgeries over a few years, I now go every 6 months. Dentistry/periodontics doesn't get any better.

I really like Dr. Caryn Miller. My dentist referred me to Dr. Caryn Miller and I forgot to make the appointment (for months). When I finally scheduled the consult, I was surprised and scared from her recommendation - to pull a tooth. I was so scared the morning of the procedure and wanted to be put out but it was too late. She explained the amount of pain I should feel by tapping on my arm. She was absolutely right, there was no pain and she only used novocaine. I received a followup call the next day. Besides high level of care, I didn't have to wait when I arrived either time. Her staff was welcoming, professional and experienced. She's also a friendly and personable doctor. I highly recommend her and look forward to her future care. I completely trust her as a periodontist.

I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Caryn Miller! I was so nervous for the entire week leading up to my appointment. I had never been to a periodontist before, and I didn't know what to expect Dr. Caryn was kind and compassionate... and so patient with me. She explained everything she was going to do and made sure i was comfortable throughout the procedures. My fears were melted away by the professionalism and kindness of Dr. Caryn and her team. Her assistant was also very attentive and the warm and welcoming atmosphere within the office suite made such a difference! THANK YOU!
