One of the first female Orthodontists in Arkansas, Dr. Carmella Knoernschild (Dr. K) earned her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Orthodontics in 1990 from Boston University. She was inducted into the universitys honorary dental society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. K is the recipient of the Arkansas State Dental Associations New Dentist of the Year award. She served as technical advisor for the Arkansas Association of Orthodontists video. A Smile Thats Good for Life. Dr. K became a certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics in 2003. She is an active member of many professional and community associations such as President, Arkansas Association of Orthodontists. The Southwestern Society of Orthodontists: The American Association of Orthodontists: The University of Arkansas Alumni Association. Dr. K is enthusiastic about motivating young people. She sponsors our local volleyball programs along with various other sports, contributes generously to JA Childrens Benefit Ball and serves as a motivational speaker. Just recently Dr. K was asked to contribute a chapter in a childrens book about #CONFIDENCE. Dr. K and her husband, Doug, along with their children, Isabella and L.T. reside near Lamar and attend New Life Church in Russellville, Arkansas.

I got my braces there here recently and i highly recommend going to Dr. K for braces. Everyone there is so nice and they truly make you comfortable and not nervous. I love all the staff and work. Its truly amazing.

This place is terrible I took my kid in there to get a consultation for braces and the girl her name was Tonya and she was being rude don't ever go here!

The first thing we noticed was that the decor inside is really pretty..we were helped by the girls at the front desk right away and then my son got taken back for x-rays very quickly.. my son mentioned that the girl who did his x-ray was really nice.. wasn't much longer we were taken back to the consult room and then met Dr. K who was really polite and informative. We look forward to having more visits. Would definitely recommend them!

Awesome group of people! Dr. K made sure my son was comfortable and explained the process in detail. When she realized he was anxious about metal braces she recommended invisalign and now he is excited to get his teeth straight!

Dr K Dr. K is an amazing orthodontist. I was having jaw issues so badly that I was having to get pain relief shots from the hospital just to go about my day. They are all gone now! However, the scheduling and most of the staff are awful. They often messed up scheduling and didn't even put me in the system. Sometimes, they would reschedule my appointment without ever getting confirmation from me. (I never received a phone call from them even though they claimed to have called us. They should have confirmed before even cancelling though because I obviously didn't get it.) Most of the staff is incredibly rude, especially the manager, when you tell them they have made a mistake. I lived across the country when I first started going to Dr. K. My parents live here so my insurance was accepted by Dr. K. So I would fly all the way from Los Angeles to see Dr. K just to have them tell me they cancelled my appointment. Then I moved to Dallas, and I would drive all the way from Dallas for my appointment just to have them tell me AGAIN that they had cancelled my appointment without ever talking to me. Suffice to say, I'm glad I'm basically done with my orthodontist work because I will never come back. I will never recommend this office to anyone else which is kind of sad because Dr. K is a great orthodontist.

my daughter said that yall made her relize there are still nice people in this world... she has social anxiety but yall made her fill so welcome and comfertable... so her complements mean alot... thank you all and keep up the perfect work....

My boy has a bad under bite and was scared to go to the orthodontists. But the staff made him feel comfortable. They are doing amazing job. And he doesn't mind going.in facts he likes going and visiting will the staff. I would recommend them to everyone.

Dr.K and staff are amazing my granddaughter got her braces she was nervous..but the staff was great talk to her the whole time so she knew exactly what was going on..Best in Arkansas. We are pleased with the work #1
