I used this office years ago for my older boys and ended up switching bc all of a sudden one visit they started asking for payments. They went out of network and never told their patients. So I moved my kids to a different office. We went back with our youngest and he's been going for 3 1/2 years. All of a sudden yesterday they asked for payment again on a preventative service that I usually pay nothing for. Turns out, they went out of network again and never said anything. I specifically ask them before each appointment and I was told 'yes, we are in network but it doesn't matter if you have a PPO'. Um, yes it does matter. The receptionist also could not give an explanation for the cost. Dr. Cantrell herself was also not nice at all to my son yesterday, which was very unlike her. She's always been very bubbly and nice but her attitude yesterday was terrible. I asked for a detailed statement before I left and was told I would receive it via email. It's the next day and I'm still waiting for the detailed statement. I called the office yesterday to speak with the office manager after my sons appointment. I left a message and never got a call back. My husband called twice and was told that the office manager was 'busy'. My husband just Called again today and was told that there is no office manager and the receptionist does not answer to anyone. She refused to put anyone on the phone stating that the entire office is in a meeting for the rest of the day and they are closed tomorrow. We will NOT be returning. Find your children a dentist that has decent bedside manner and a competent office staff!

We had the worst experience with this Dentist. We felt that they are greedy and predatory. They over collected around $450 from us after the treatment and are making all kind of excuses to keep to that money. Even to get your account statements via email, you will have to wait for weeks and weeks. I had to make several phone calls to convince them that they over collected. Now that they are saying it will take few weeks to issue the partial refund. They didn't include few service items in the original claim and are charging full price instead of the network negotiated fee which $100 more. Now that I need to wait for few more weeks for them to re-file the claim and several weeks thereafter to get the full refund of the extra money they collected from us. I wouldn't recommend this group unless you have lot of time and patience to work with greedy people.

When this dentist started out years ago on Hwy 380 her office made a mistake. They charged me for my child sitting down in the chair for a check up. I was told about 5 minutes into the session that they made a mistake and our insurance is not a provider. I had previously asked to make sure our insurance was a provider. I told them I would need to go to a in plan dentist. I received a bill in the mail. I called and they said they would clear it up. They never did and years later they are still trying to collect and have a $239 collection on my credit report. I will not pay for their mistake. I do not recommend such a unfair practice.

Love this place! Dr. and her staff are awesome! Not only are they very caring and friendly, they are also affordably priced for the service you receive.

The office is wonderful. Everyone there is amazing. It is a 25 minute drive from our house to Dr. Cantrell's office and worth every minute. She is the best doctor we have found since moving here two years ago. She was very sweet and very patient with my little boy. Highly recommend.

Dr. Cantrell and her office staff are awesome! My daughter was very anxious about going to the dentist but now after the great care she has received over the years (and multiple fillings and extractions) at Childsmile....she no longer has the dentist anxiety. The staff are all caring, loving, and helpful....the office is very kid friendly. I would recommend taking your kids to Childsmile....they are top notch!

I would not recommend, the Dr is very rude not only to her staff but to the children, she uses some of the same dental equipment for multiple children. I'd go elsewhere if you care for your children.
