Dr. Cait is a general dentist and fellow of the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics. She specializes in digitally designed CEREC CAD/CAM crowns. She can deliver you a beautiful porcelain crown in less than one hour! Dr. Cait also has advanced training in the treatment of growing children and adolescents. She uses braces and appliance therapy to treat malocclusion (the incorrect alignment of teeth and jaws) and to heal TMJ disorders. She graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1996 and has since grown tremendously in her field. She has been a clinical professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine while working in a general/periodontics practice with her father and brother in Boston. Eleven years ago, Dr. Cait moved to SW Florida and founded and owned Ave Maria Dentistry. In April of 2018, she sold her practice and decided to offer her services in general dentistry and aesthetics to the Naples community. Dr. Cait was trained in 2015 by the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics and is certified in BOTOX treatments, dermal fillers, PDO thread lifts, and laser skin treatments. 'Broke the cement on my permanent retainer behind my top front teeth, which can happen occasionally. Called a couple dozen dentists in Naples to see about getting it re-cemented, price quote, and could fit me in right away before my teeth could move around. Only 6 of the couple dozen dentists I called were either willing to do the procedure, or were willing to give a price quote up front. Only 3 of those 6 could get me in quickly, same week. The price quote was about the same for each of the three, and I ultimately chose Dr. Cait Smiles Dentistry because Anna (the dental hygienist/assistant who was answering the phone) was by far the most pleasant, upbeat, and helpful person I spoke with out of the couple dozen offices I called. Dr. Cait did a great job re-cementing my retainer and making sure the new cement didn 't interfere with my bite. She also gave some good suggestions and alternatives to keeping my permanent retainers and improving my alignment and bite, which I may consider.'

Anna graduated from Ave Maria University in 2020 with a bachelors degree in Health Sciences. She began working at Dr. Cait Smiles the summer after graduation, and has witnessed the growth of the practice. In the future, she hopes to further her career by becoming a dental hygienist.
Therese graduated from Ave Maria University in 2018 with her bachelors degree in healthcare administration. She is Dr. Caits eldest daughter and worked at Ave Maria Dentistry as a receptionist when she was in college.
