Dr. Cait is a general dentist and fellow of the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics. She specializes in digitally designed CEREC CAD/CAM crowns. She can deliver you a beautiful porcelain crown in less than one hour! Dr. Cait also has advanced training in the treatment of growing children and adolescents. She uses braces and appliance therapy to treat malocclusion (the incorrect alignment of teeth and jaws) and to heal TMJ disorders. She graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1996 and has since grown tremendously in her field. She has been a clinical professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine while working in a general/periodontics practice with her father and brother in Boston. Eleven years ago, Dr. Cait moved to SW Florida and founded and owned Ave Maria Dentistry. In April of 2018, she sold her practice and decided to offer her services in general dentistry and aesthetics to the Naples community. Dr. Cait was trained in 2015 by the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics and is certified in BOTOX treatments, dermal fillers, PDO thread lifts, and laser skin treatments. Dr. Cait hopes to offer you the best and most modern treatmentandalso offers Myobrace appliance treatments. Dr.Cait believes that a true doctor is always a student, andcontinuing her education is very important to her. It keeps her practice modern as she strives for advancement in her science. Only 6 of the couple dozen dentists I called were either willing to do the procedure, or were willing to give a price quote up front. Only 3 of those 6 could get me in quickly, same week. The price quote was about the same for each of the three, and I ultimately chose Dr. Cait Smiles Dentistry because Anna (the dental hygienist/assistant who was answering the phone) was by far the most pleasant, upbeat, and helpful person I spoke with out of the couple dozen offices I called. Dr. Cait did a great job re-cementing my retainer and making sure the new cement didn 't interfere with my bite. She also gave some good suggestions and alternatives to keeping my permanent retainers and improving my alignment and bite, which I may consider.'

Anna graduated from Ave Maria University in 2020 with a bachelors degree in Health Sciences. She began working at Dr. Cait Smiles the summer after graduation, and has witnessed the growth of the practice. In the future, she hopes to further her career by becoming a dental hygienist.
Therese graduated from Ave Maria University in 2018 with her bachelors degree in healthcare administration. She is Dr. Caits eldest daughter and worked at Ave Maria Dentistry as a receptionist when she was in college. Therese is one of the friendly voices you will hear on the phone and is available to assist you with any questions you may have! Please contact her with all of your administrative needs! There's not enough space for me to tell you about my less than stellar experience at DrCaitSmiles dentistry. There are plenty of other dentists in the area, I recommend you choose another team to handle your dental needs.

Dr. Cait went above and beyond in all aspects of my complicated issues. A limited timeline and other challenges only seemed to motivate this outstanding dentist. The team in this office is truly in it for the right reasons. I no longer have to hide my smile!!!

Firstly i apprecieate the amazing and happy staff but dr cait was so fake and condesending. i overheard her lose her mind on a call she clearly meant to be private. i also couldn't trust her to work on my mouth as she claimed the xray read differently than it did (im an orthopedic xray technician, she clearly had absolutely no idea what she was talking about)

They made me verify my appointment by text & email & phone. Yet they didn't have the courtesy to tell me that Dr Cait wasn't there that day for my appointment! Then as I'm leaving the office this Karen cuts me off and its dr cait- SHE WAS THERE WHEN I WAS SCHEDULED afterall!!!!!!!!! she flipped me off and yelled something at me as she sped away. I don't know much about dentisry or the profession, but this bipolar dr just lost the business of me my family and all my friends. I will never return-- and to EDIT: Yes, I am no longer affiliated with this office and NEVER again a patient of theirs. Disgusting.

I moved to Naples Florida 2 years ago and have been searching for a dentist the whole time. I have used medical source, insurance leads, read reviews, and asked around for referrals however I have never been able to get a dentist that is a part of my care. they leave it to the hygienist who appeared to be turnover at each location by the time you go back for 6 month cleaning. When I finally needed work done [crown], the dentist took 6+ months to work on the crown fit in my mouth, I went through terrible pain because it did not fit right, spent a lot of time off work for appointments, and finally it caused damage to near by tooth that I had to get a root canal! I received referral for Dr Cait from my cosmetologist. Took a chance and I have been so happy with her professionalism, her personal care, and the office staff is wonderful!! So happy I was complaining to someone who shared a dentist referral :) now I am the one making referrals

I have never met a more giving, caring and knowledgeable dentist. When I have dental work done it can get quite emotional for me. Dr Cait and her assistant, Christina were compassionate and gentle with lot only my mouth but the whole person, me. Including my, body AND spirit. I am honored to add Dr Cait to the great team of healers assisting in working toward optimal health!

Dr. Cait is excellent! I was very impressed with every aspect of my visit to her office. She is super thorough and compassionate.
