Our gentle, family-friendly dentistry is popular with adults and children. You will be comfortably seated in one of our operatories and may choose to listen to your favorite music or DVD. We have a wide variety of DVDs to satisfy everyones taste. While you are listening, you have a view of salt water aquariums in each operatory.
Dr. C. David Knox was born in Okolona, MS but was reared in Durham, NC, where he proudly attended and excelled in the Durham public school system. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from North Carolina Central University before attending Howard University Dental School, where he graduated in 1969 as a Doctor of Dental Surgery.As a Dental resident, Dr. Knox was a Clinical Instructor of Restorative Dentistry. He moved on to postgraduate work at Harvard Universitys School of Public Health, and another residency at Harvard University of Dental Medicine and Massachusetts Department of Public Health.His certifications include: Post graduate Clinic, The Southeastern Analgesic Society, the Oral Cancer Society, Department of Army, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and postgraduate courses in Periodontics, Lumineers, Invisalign and Osstem Implants.
He passed the Dental Boards required to practice dentistry in Georgia, North Carolina, Massachusetts, New York and District of Columbia. He has been actively practicing in Georgia for thirty-six years.
Dr. Knox belongs to a number of professional organizations, including: The American Dental Association, The North Georgia Dental Society, NDA, The American Endodontics Society, A.B. Cooper Award NEDS, and The Academy of General Dentistry.
His civic, fraternal and community activities include Boy Scouts of America, I am INC. Alpha Phi Alpha, Chi Delta Mi Community Based Organization, Feed the Hungry, and helping children with school supplies through Eddie Lowe.
Dr. Knox is passionate about dentistry and photography. His interest is to positively touch the lives of mankind with his primary passions in life, dentistry and photography! All of his educational and post doctoral training has intensified his interest and focus on giving YOU the patient ultimate care!

Words cannot express how awesome Dr. Knox and his staff are. I woke up in severe pain and on his day off, Dr Knox allowed me to come in and he treated my pain, as well as educated me on my situation. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and most of all caring. I highly recommend his dental office and will definitely be going back for future procedures.

To anyone looking to have dental work done.. Try Dr Knox.. Each time, I have not been disappointed yet..The staff is pleasant and knowledgeable..and Dr Knox is wonderful.. I recommend him to anyone..I have found my permanent dentist.. Thank you Dr Knox..

The best dentist there is. He has extensive knowledge and is a very caring guy. I will be a patient of his until he retires. Hopefully, that is no time soon!

He is a good dentist can not take that away from him but they hired an outside company to accept his calls and make appts. That's where the problem lies now I called and made a Saturday appt and I was in terrible pain I get there and say they cancel the appt because Dr will not be in but I didn't get not one call to say it was canceled. So I rode over there to hear it was canceled and forgot this I have to find another dentist. They didn't care how much pain I was in just turn me away.

I never had a issue with this place until my last visits which was for a filling. I was given laughing gas for the procedure. He left for a few minutes DURING my procedure WHILE I'm on laughing gas. Ever since the procedure I have been having a little difficulty breathing(wheezing). And I looked it up and it did say that this can occur due to too much exposure to the gas. I am still having Thai problem after a week of having this done.

On numerous occasions, Dr.Knox has fixed my teeth and taken me out pain. He is a great dentist, friendly, knowledgeable, and will work with your budget!

I have sensitive teeth and Dr Knox did a Flouride Varnish treatment today. It really feels great and I left his office with no sensitivity at all. He and his staff are are excellent!
