Why do I love orthodontics? There are so many reasons, but theyre all based in the fact that orthodontics is a specialty in dentistry where patients are enthusiastic to come see us! The transformation that we create together happens over months or years, which allows us to form relationships that last into the future, and sometimes generation after generation. There isnt much to compare to when you finish treatment on a patient and they get to show off their new, beautiful, awesome smile! The confidence that a wonderful smile can create is immeasurable!
It has been my pleasure to provide outstanding orthodontic care in the Vacaville community since 2004. I received my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh and my orthodontic certificate from Columbia University in New York City. While honorably serving in the United States Air Force, I completed my general practice residency at David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base, and later completed my orthodontic residency at Columbia.
I maintain memberships with numerous prestigious organizations, such as the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the California Association of Orthodontists, the California Dental Association, and the World Federation of Orthodontists. I also attend continuing education meetings of the Damon Forum, Napa-Solano Dental Society, and several local and regional study groups. Orthodontics is always changing, and I want our office always to be on the forefront of new technologies and innovations, so we give the best care to our patients.
I have served as the president and ethics chairman, and am currently the co-chair of continuing education for the Napa-Solano Dental Society. In addition to my work in orthodontics, I give back to my local community by sponsoring numerous local youth sports teams and contributing to local schools. I also participate in Give Kids a Smile, which provides complimentary orthodontic treatment to the underserved.
Outside of the office, I have discovered a love of aviation and recently received my private pilot license. On any given day, I may be flyingthe skies high above Vacaville! I also enjoy playing guitar and piano, going to the gym, and playing volleyball, as well as spending time with my family, two daughters Sydney and Scarlett, and friends.
Rachel found her passion in orthodontics almost 20 years ago, starting out as a scheduling coordinator. Her current role as office manager helps the practice run smoothly and efficiently and helps assist in arranging financial options that allow our patients to achieve a beautiful smile!
Rachel has the travel bug and has been to Poland, Germany, Italy, Austria, and France, to name just a few. She enjoys cooking, wine tasting, and spending time with her family and friends. She is also active in her community by being part of a volunteer ministry.

Pam is one of our friendly orthodontic assistants. She can be found working with patients to place and remove braces, as well as providing education about the care of braces and appliances. Pam loves working with patients, getting to know them, and being a part of the process of creating a winning smile.
Rita loves to see the transformations our patients go through when they receive orthodontic treatment. She finds it very rewarding to watch as patients come in, unhappy with their smiles at first, eventually to leave our office with a face lit up with a smile.
At our orthodontic practice, we work hard to treat you and your family the same way we would like to be treated: with respect, professionalism, and sensitivity toward your needs. We understand the expectations of the patients and families we serve, and we do everything we can to make sure each patient has an exceptional experience at our practice.
