Dr. Bruce Newcomb was born and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho. After graduating from Twin Falls High School, he attended Willamette College for one year, then transferred to the College of Idaho, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree with honors. He went on to dental school at Creighton University School of Dentistry, where he also graduated with honors. Dr. Newcomb did his endodontic residency at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.
Dr. Newcomb loves living in the Boise Valley with his wife Julie, and their three children. He gives back to the Boise community by being involved with Ducks Unlimited and the Lion's Club. Dr. Newcomb is a member of the Southwest District Dental Society and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Hilary Dunstan was born and raised in Boise, ID and has practiced endodontics in Boise since 2006. She attended Boise High School and then earned her Bachelors Degree with honors from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington in 1998. She completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska in 2003. Dr. Dunstan graduated from Creighton with honors and also received numerous awards upon graduation including Student Achievement Award in Endodontics, recognition by the American Association of Women Dentists, and membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Society. She then attended the University of Southern California and completed a one year program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry.
Dr. Dunstan attended the University of Louisville, Louisville, Kentucky for specialty endodontic training. There she received training in the latest techniques and technology including use of the operating microscope and digital radiography. Upon completion of the program in 2006 Dr. Dunstan was awarded both a Certificate in Endodontics as well as a Masters in Oral Biology.
Dr. Dunstan was thrilled to have the opportunity to return to Idaho to practice and raise a family. She spends most of her free time with her husband, Brian, a general dentist at the Boise VA, and her daughter Gwendalyn and son Zane. They can often be found on the ski slopes in winter or cycling one of the many trails in the foothills during the summer.

Dr Newcomb took great care of my husband! He was professional and very knowledgeable. His office staff was friendly and welcoming too! It was altogether a great experience!! Highly recommend!

At 75 years old I just had my first root canal ever! Dr. Newcomb and his assistant are great! No pain, no discomfort, no hassle. Took about an hour and a half. Their tools and technics are state of the art. This is a good outfit and I highly recommend them.

First let me mention that I had a fear of Dentist all my life and have had problems with my Teeth for as long as I can remember. When i was told by my Dentist i had to go to a Specialist for a Root Canal i was honestly not happy. From the get go Dr. Newcomb made me feel comfortable and eased my mind with his professional but funny Attitude. Today i had my Root Canal done by Dr. Newcomb and I did not feel the Local Anesthesia at all not even a bit. The entire procedure was painless and not uncomfortable at ANY point. Dr. Newcomb took away all the fears i had throughout 40 years of Dentist Phobia my favorite and will always come back for any complicated procedures

Seriously he is the best!!! I've had to have multiple root canals and this is by far the best experience I've ever had. It was quick, and painless to the point I almost fell asleep during it. He's friendly and very efficient. Thank you Dr. Newcomb!

i was referred to Dr. Newcomb by my dentist because of ongoing pain in a root canal I had done previously. I showed up to his office swollen and in terrible pain. From the moment I walked in I was impressed with the professional but light atmosphere and staff. Dr. Newcombe scheduled me for surgery quickly and was very reasonable with billing. I have had no pain or swelling since. Dr. Newcombe made me actually enjoy going to the dentist. I highly recommend him for all of your dental and surgery singing needs. Thanks!

Dr. Newcomb was very nice and explain everything in good detail to me. I had to get 2 root canals done. I did them both at the same time and was out of his office just under 2 hours! It went smooth and absolutely no pain during or after the root canals were finished! His assistant was very sweet and friendly. Overall I had a great experience.

I was referred to Dr Newcomb by my dentist to have an emergency root canal. Upon arrival at his office, he saw no need to perform the root canal right away and sent me home. I was told to come back in the morning. That night the abcess around my tooth broke. My mouth and neck became swollen and I experienced the worst pain of my life. The next morning, he cut my gums to drain the infection that was in my gums, again he sent me home without performing the root canal. Enough is enough with this inexperienced dentist, I went to another endodontist who performed the much needed root canal. Dr. Newcomb had the nerve to send me a bill for his services. This man is a JOKE!
