Dr. Bridget Z. Walsh, DMD

An example of our commitment to our environment: During construction we used building materials with recycled content. From our paint, to the carpet, to the floors, to the waiting room chairs we chose products that were best for our environment. Our eco-approach extends to our office as well. We use digital radiographs, digital charts, steam sterilization techniques, natural cleaning supplies, vegetable based ink, and much of our office supplies are made of recycled materials and disposed of by recycling.

Our team is a huge contributing factor in our success. The women in our office share our values. They care for us, each other, and the patients. And through these shared ideals, we have created a workplace dynamic that feels like a second family.

After graduating from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2002, I completed a general practice residency at Abington Memorial Hospital. Since then I have gained more then a decade of private practice experience in New York and Pennsylvania, and have been serving my home town of Clarks Summit with my sister for the past 5 years. My experiences have helped me be prepared all aspects of my profession with both expertise and excitement. Growing up with a grandfather who was a dentist and my father was a pediatrician, I learned that a career could be a gift that could actually touch lives, not just a way to pay the bills.I attribute my ability to establish a sympathetic doctor/patient relationship to values I learned from my father, a well respected pediatrician. Dr. Thomas Zukoski was disciplined in the time-honored tradition of providing patients with both care and compassion, qualities he instilled in me and my sister. My philosophy of practice is to give patients my full attention and establish a caring relationship. The value of achieving academic excellence, that I gained from my Jesuit education at Scranton Prep and the University of Scranton, have led me to stay abreast of the latest developments in dentistry by attending far more then the state standard of post graduate workshops and seminars annually to keep up with the high paced and fast growing demands of dentistry today.

When I am not in the office, I am enjoying time with my husband, Rod and our 3 lovely children. We love to spend time outdoors taking advantage of all that NEPA has to offer. I also enjoy running, hot yoga, crossfit, gardening, and volunteering.

When it comes to dental care you want the best. My sister, Megan Azar, and I are committed to providing the highest quality dental care to you and your family. A great listener with a gentle touch, I want your smile to look beautiful and last a lifetime.

My Grandfather, Uncle and Great Uncle were all dentists, yet I decided to go to dental school on a whim. My sister was going and I thought it sounded like a great idea. I remember in dental school interviews struggling with my answer to why I wanted to be a dentist. I would have no problem answering that question today. I love being a dentist! I enjoy building relationships with my patients. I enjoy working with my sister and a caring staff who value their relationships with our patients and their families. I take pride in a procedure well done. Im excited about constantly learning and implementing new techniques. Never did I imagine how much I would enjoy being a dentist. I am so thankful that Megan had such a great idea!

Since then I have gained a decade of private practice experience and attended far more than the state standard of post graduate continuing education.

My dad, Dr. Thomas Zukoski, recognized every patient every day as an opportunity to serve, and the greatest joy in his pediatric practice was finding the face of God in every patient. I whole heartedly agree with him, and my life has been enriched by every patient that I have had the opportunity to treat. I am the proud parent of three boys. My husband and I are working on instilling in our kids all that we have learned about hard work, service, and kindness from our parents.
