Dr. Brian Wakefield earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Baylor College of Dentistry. He was honored with an election to Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and the Odontological Honor Society. He has served the Lewisville community since 2006, and loves helping patients achieve and maintain a flawless, healthy smile.

Highly respected by his peers, Dr. Wakefield is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and holds memberships in numerous professional organizations and study clubs including the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the DFW Study Club (an affiliate of the prestigious Seattle Study Club).

Dr. Wakefield earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry, and completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) two year residency in the United States Army Dental Corps at Fort Knox, KY. Dr. Wakefield loves working with patients to achieve their smile goals, and has extensive experience in dental practice, research, and education making him an ideal choice for dental care in Lewisville. Dr. Wakefield is a retired US Army Colonel and served in the Dental Corps for 21 years. He has served as an AEGD Residency Director for 27 years, with the last 20 years at Baylor College of Dentistry, where he was also a tenured full professor.

As one of the most well respected practitioners in the dental community, Dr. Wakefield has been named one of the Top Dentists by his peers, and has earned Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry, American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He is a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry and a Diplomate of the American Board of General Dentistry, the Certifying Board of General Dentistry, and the Federal Services Board of General Dentistry. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Academy of Operative Dentistry. As a dedicated dental researcher, he serves as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry, the Journal of Operative Dentistry, and the Journal of General Dentistry. Additionally, he is the author of numerous research articles, and a sought after continuing education lecturer.

What she loves most about her job is working with our great team and our awesome patients. Linda grew up in Pampa, TX and graduated from Pampa High School. She has a son, daughter, and four grandchildren to complete her family. She enjoys traveling, spending time with good friends, and watching her grandkids sports games.

Introduce yourself to our front office assistant, Lisa. Shes been in the dental industry for 36 years. The best thing about her job is being able to help people whenever she can. In addition to working in our front office, she is also a Registered Dental Assistant!

Lisa grew up in Lewisville, TX and graduated from Lewisville High School. She is married with two sons, Adam and Cristopher, and she couldnt be happier. Her interests include cooking, baking and watching as much football as she possibly can.

Swing by the front desk and say hello to our receptionist, Arcy. Shes been in dentistry for 26 years and has a part of our practice for more than 17 of those years. The thing she loves most about her job is our patients. She enjoys assisting everyone with anything.

Arcy is originally from Pecos, TX and went to Pecos High School. She then went on to Odessa/Midland College to further her studies. Arcy has three children and two grandchildren that keep her super busy.

Marla is another friendly face youll find on our hygiene team. She has a Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene from West Virginia. Her work has covered over 30 years and seen states including West Virginia, Ohio, and Texas.

She enjoys working alongside patients guiding them towards their healthiest smile. Marla currently lives in both Highland Village and Godley. She and her husband John are building a house and small farm near their 2 children and families. Their other endeavors include participating in StoneWater Churchs launch in Godley and KAIROS prison Ministry.

Meet Noelle, one of our Registered Dental Hygienists! She has been a dental hygienist for 14 years and loves that every day she gets to care for her patients dental health and get to know them all a little better. She has loved joining the Wakefield Dentistry team!

Noelle is originally from New Jersey but raised her family in upstate New York and after having enough of the cold, moved to Lewisville, Tx. She has three kids, five if you count her two Boston terriers , and loves vacationing at the beach.

Get to know Nancy, one of our Registered Dental Hygienists. Shes been involved in dentistry for more than 28 years. In that time she has enjoyed getting to know her patients and their families. Additionally, Nancy is a member of Sigma Phi Alpha, a prestigious dental hygiene honor society.

Nancy was born in York, PA and lives in Copper Canyon, TX. She went to Eastwood High School in El Paso before completing her undergraduate studies at Texas Womans University. She is happily married to her husband, John, and has two sons. When she isnt busy at work, she enjoys running half marathons and watching her boys play sports.

Cathy is one of our beloved Registered Dental Hygienists. Shes been in dentistry for over 40 years and is committed to excellence, honesty, and integrity. She is also certified to provide nitrous oxide and place dental sealants..

Cathy is from Highland Village and graduated from Lewisville High School. She went on to complete her studies at Texas Womans University in Denton. She has been married for 39 years, has two daughters and three grandsons. When she isnt at the office, she enjoys cycle/spin classes, Bible study, and spending time with her family.

Shannon grew up in Plano and attended Plano East High School. She then studied at Stephen F. Austin University. When she isnt at the office taking care of our patients, she loves spending time with her family and traveling.

Alicia is one of our friendly Registered Dental Assistants, and she couldnt be happier to be on board! Shes been in the dental industry for 9 years. She loves our coworkers and patients alike and is certified in nitrous oxide. Originally from Lake Dallas, Alicia has a very loving and caring family whom she adores. When she isnt at the office, she enjoys going to the gym and spending quality time with family and friends.
