I feel blessed to be an orthodontist. Using my clinical skills to improve the function of my patients teeth for the betterment of their overall oral health is satisfying, but what is unbelievably rewarding is seeing what a positive difference an attractive smile can make in a persons life. People smile more, laugh more freely, and experience a boost in self-confidence when they feel good about their smiles. This is why I love what I do.
I completed my general dental education at Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry in 1985, after which I practiced general dentistry and served as a faculty member at the School of Dentistry. I became excited about orthodontics when I witnessed the transformation that took place as I restored the badly neglected smile of one of my first orthodontic patients, Katherine. As I treated her with braces, bridges, and crowns, she started smiling again and taking care of her overall appearance. She got a job outside the home for the first time and worked her way up to an executive position. The confident, polished woman she became looked 20 years younger and was virtually unrecognizable as the patient had I started treatment on. Her words of appreciation hooked me on orthodontics. I completed my Master of Science degree in orthodontics in 1988 at Loma Linda University.
I was born and raised in Nagano, Japan, but always wanted to come to the US for a higher education. While in dental school in the Inland Empire, I started visiting the South Bay to buy Japanese food, which was unavailable inland, and fell in love with this area. I changed my original plan of returning to Japan to practice and instead moved to Torrance in 1990. Later, I became a naturalized citizen. The South Bay, with its unique blend of cultures, is where my wife Margaret and I truly feel at home. This has been a wonderful place to raise our great kids, Alex and Erika.
By regularly participating in continuing education, I am able to stay current on the latest knowledge, technology, and techniques in orthodontics. My patients deserve the best, and continuing education allows me to provide my patients with more options and better results.
I feel that it is a privilege to live and work in such a wonderful community. I enjoy getting to know my patients and their families. It is always such an honor to know that I have made a difference in so many of my patients' lives. I couldn't ask for a better job or for a better group of people to be sharing their smiles with me. Hi, my name is Margaret and Im a treatment coordinator. Im here to answer questions and help you on your orthodontic journey. When Im out and about in the South Bay, I frequently see patients and parents, both current and from years back. I count it a privilege to have gotten to know so many wonderful people here in the past twenty-nine years. We have many second-generation patients and are even treating the grandchild of one of our first patients!
In my free time, I love spending time with friends and family, especially my two adult children. My favorite place to go is New York City, where I can visit my daughter and eat thin crust pizza. NYC is awesome, but the South Bay is the BEST place to live!

From the minute you walk in you feel welcome by the staff, they are all very professional. The office is very clean and Dr. Naguchi is great! I was here for a quick Invisalign treatment and he was able to straighten out my teeth in only 3 months. highly recommend this place!

Dr. Noguchi seemed confident in what he was doing and clearly explained the treatment plan. The office was clean and the staff seemed like very nice people. The treatment worked and I am very pleased with my now straight teeth.

We went through their treatments for our two children. Mostly happy with the results. They added a surprise $500 fee at the end which would have been better if they had mentioned that in the beginning. Hard to imagine they had no idea that would happen as the office has been there since the 20th century. Also, Doc is somewhat unfriendly along with the staff.

I got braces here and it was good. I like the helpful staff and it was a good experience. They were friendlyand made braces a better experience than I expected. I was in good hands.

Our 14 years old son just completed his year long process of braces treatment at Dr. Noguchi's office. Going in, he was fearful, worried, and reluctant to get braces but we figured he needed to have his teeth properly aligned while he is young. We investigated into 6 different orthodontists; all came highly recommended to us. We made our comparison on a spreadsheet and, in the final analysis, we chose Dr. Noguchi. He is professional, not pushy and his pricing was good. Also, my husband had been one of Dr. Noguchi's Invisalign happy patients. Dr. Noguchi's flexibility made it easier for patients to make the best decision for themselves. Margaret and the office staff were consistently responsive as they accommodate my son's needs. He was always seen within 15-30 minutes of my phone call. Dr. Noguchi was always punctual. We were always seen when we arrive. Margaret & all the office staff make it a point to know my son by name; they made him feel well taken cared of . He is very happy with his beautiful teeth.

Dr Noguchi and his office staff were so prompt and attentive to my daughter's Invisalign treatment. We had a wonderful experience and it was such a short, easy and pain-free 10months! She has perfectly straight teeth wo any of the canker sores and discomfort is usually associated w orthodontics! I would highly recommend Dr Noguchi's office to anyone considering Invisalign.

This orthodontist is the BEST. The first good thing is that they are clear at scheduling when they have the appointment every time, and tells me what my son is going to have. Another good thing is how they always welcomes you. At hospital and clinic, sometime they look you in a dirty eyes but here they always respect you.

Dr. Noguchi made it happen when all other orthodontists said my palette was too small. He did not extract any of my teeth and I was done with Invisalign in only 1.5 years! I am able to take my engagement photos next week with straight teeth, thanks to Dr. Noguchi and his crew! Thank you!!

I got my braces off last week at Noguchi's orthodontics. first I had really cricket that I hated. but now my teeth are lined up and I don't have an overbite anymore. One of the good things in Noguchi's orthodontics is that The staffs were terrific in telling me what there going to do with my teeth before they did anything. Also when you are done with the treatment you get a surprise giving, you all kinds of food you couldn't eat.
