Dr. Brian Krandell has been practicing dentistry since 1991. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Rochester in New York and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
Committed to giving patients the latest advancements in the field of dentistry, Dr. Krandell is a member of the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, Great Seneca Study Club and The Frederick County Dental Society. Dr. Krandell sponsors numerous local school groups and supports the United States Marine's Toys for Tots drive.

Our staff is highly skilled, uniquely trained and aims to provide unparalleled service to each patient. Our staff members have specialized training, multiple certifications and years of experience treating patients with the highest level of care. In fact, we have over 25 years of combined dental experience! We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.
Angie has been Dr. Krandell's dedicated dental assistant since November 2017. She has been in the dental field for 10 years. She enjoys working directly with Dr. Krandell in transforming patient's smiles. In her spare time, Angie enjoys spending time with her daughter and trying new food.
Joy has been working with Dr. Krandell since January 2013. In 1992, she earned her Bachelors in Dental Hygiene from the University of Maryland. She loves being a hygienist. In her spare time she enjoys spending quality time with her children and dogs. She also likes to experiment with new cooking recipes.

Dr. Krandell and his staff are incredible. I have severe dental anxiety and have not been seen by a dentist in seven years. They were totally non-judgemental and treated me with care and kindness. I was extremely nervous during the exam, but they kept checking in with me at every step to make sure I was okay and able to continue. Dr. Krandell took time to explain my treatment plan so I understood what needs to happen next and was very reassuring throughout the visit. I absolutely recommend this practice to anyone who is looking for a new dentist, but most especially for folks who have medical/dental anxiety and phobias. If you've been putting it off... Just do it! Dr. Krandell will take good care of you.

Dr. Krandell is the most amazing dentist you will ever get. Not only is he extremely professional, but he has the best staff who are very kind and helpful as well. He is very calm and has great bedside manner. He truly makes every experience as comfortable as possible and is incredibly efficient and quick. I used to hate going to the dentist, but I don't mind it at all anymore because I know I'm in the best of hands!

We moved away from Germantown fourteen years ago, but we still drive back there to see Dr. Krandell. He is the best dentist I have ever had. Kind, gentle, and extremely competent. I am constantly amazed at his quick adoption of the latest technologies for keeping my teeth in excellent condition without having to pay an arm and a leg. His hygenists are the best, too. Highest recommendation!
