Dr. Novak is a California native and grew up in Downey, where he graduated from Downey High School in 1976. He was influenced and encouraged by his own family dentist to pursue a career in dentistry. He graduated from Whittier College in 1980 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry. After working for a year in the aerospace industry, he and his family moved to St. Louis, Missouri. In 1985, he graduated and received a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) He returned to California and practiced in various locations around Southern California. In 1996, he purchased the practice of Dr. Robert Graham in Whittier and has focused his efforts in this location ever since.

The acquisition of his dental practice now afforded him the opportunity to promote his own unique approach to the profession. His philosophy is to treat patients with a personal touch and, at the same time, develop strong, long term relationships with his patients. Jody has been a vital part of the practice for over 30 years. She is committed to providing excellent, comfortable, and precise dental hygiene to all of her patient. She brings a gentle, caring touch to her treatment. Jody enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family.

Perla has been with the practice for 4 years. Her main duty is as a full-time hygiene assistant. Having Perla in this position makes the hygiene schedule run smoothly and efficiently. She will be able to take x-rays at your recall visits, review any changes in your medical condition, including any changes in medication, and answer any questions regarding your dental health. Perla is a real asset to the practice, and enjoys time with friends and family.
