I used to take my mom here who had some health issues at the time and this office was always great with her. When I moved to Rochester Hills I started going here myself. I have a lot of anxiety about going to doctors and having procedures but Dr. Brian McLean and staff are always nice to talk to and put me at ease. They always do a great job and really helped get me get my dental health in order after neglecting to go to the dentist for a few years. Thanks Dr. McLean and highly recommend this office!

I am a student and do not have a job or dental insurance. I expressed concern about costs and stated that I would like to have a cleaning but no X-rays. They told me that since I was a new patient, that would not be possible. I said that I could send records from my previous dentist that included multiple sets of X-rays, the most recent being a year and a half ago, and they said that would suffice. After over a month of issues with having the records sent (not their fault) they finally received them and then told me the X-rays were too old (after saying they weren't before) and I would still need new ones. The ADA states that for those who are in good dental health and not prone to decay, X-rays (even bitewing) are only needed about every 2-3 years. I could not afford the X-rays and this office would not see me as a patient even though they were not medically necessary. Additionally, this office wanted to charge $160 for a cleaning only with NO insurance. That price in addition to the X-ray situation tells me that this dental practice cares a bit more about money than its patients. This would lead me to not trust them if they told me I needed fillings, etc. If you go here beware they do not con you into unnecessary dental work.

I am not one to write reviews but after reading the unjust review left for Dr. Mclean, I had to chime in. I have been seeing Dr. Mclean since I was in elementary school and I am currently 33 years old. He is the most honest and caring professional I have ever met. The hygienists are friendly and informative. When I lived out of state and was misguided by a dentist about dental work that needed to be performed, Dr. Mclean reviewed the work "free of charge" that the scammer dentist in AZ wanted me to have done and let me know that he was misleading me. Dr. Mclean is not one to have unnecessary work performed in order to line his pockets, he is an honest professional. Thanks to the many years of going to Dr.Mclean, my teeth are perfect and so is my families!
