Dr. Brian Blatter has been practicing in Concord for over 20 years. He grew up in the area and graduated from Clayton Valley High School. His father, Kay Blatter, practiced as a general dentist in Concord for almost forty years.Dr. Blatterattended Brigham Young University and then moved on tograduate from the University of the Pacific Dental School in 1991. He has been practicing on East Street since 1995. He specializes in extractions, implants, biopsy procedures, and wisdom tooth extractions. He served as a missionary for his church in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and speaks Portuguese and Spanish
In his free time, Dr. Blatter enjoys boating and hiking with his wife and five sons. He and his family are proud patrons of Fentons Creamery; he loves toasted almond ice cream and almost always has a container of it in his freezer. To balance it all out, he also enjoys running and competing in triathlons with his brother. His most recent race was in Oceanside this past year.
2189 East Street has a colorful and complex history. This corner of Bonifacio and East Street was originally planned to be the furthermost corner of Concord when the city was being planned by the original settlers. Built in 1914, this house was originally the home of the Davila family. We have several pictures of the Davila family up around our office, including the one included on this page featuring Enos Davila, the patriarch of the family. The Davilas lived here through World War I where their son Frank served in the Army. After the Davila family moved, the house has served as a cardiology office, a church, and most recently, our office. We have been at this location since 1995.

My fiance needed his wisdom tooth removed and they were very nice to him, were thorough, and did a great job with the removal. My only complaint is the after care information was a bit rushed but they gave use everything we needed. Thank you!!

We had an excellent experience with Dr. Blatter. My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed about a month ago and it was a very smooth procedure. She only needed over the counter pain meds twice on day one and once on day 3. She's almost completely healed now. Everyone in the office was wonderful, kind, informative and available. One of his staff, Kari, was so thorough, she saved me $720 because she noted how much my insurance company agreed to pay even when they tried to pay less following her call with them. Thank you all!

Very unprofessional. I came in today to get all 4 wisdom teeth extracted. I came in paid for the appointment, sat down and without realizing I drank a little bit of fluid. Nonetheless I now have to reschedule, Barrett takes me in another room to discuss my treatment plan, after saying I would die because I drank fluid. Beforehand I had expressed my anxiety and fear of being put to sleep, I explained to him it was because a family member passing away during surgery, he was not making me any more comfortable at all actually is was very much the opposite. He then says we need a $500 deposit, I ask why, he explains, and then he asks me if i know what a refund is trying to belittle me because I have reasonable questions. His NURSE looks at him funny like she can't believe what he's saying either. Mind you I am a 25 year old black professional business owner but today I dressed comfy because I knew I was going to be put under. I would never in a million years treat a client like that. He needs to improve on customer service, appropriate tone when speaking to clients, his mannerisms, and communication within the office. How do only 4 people work there and you don't know I paid prior to rescheduling? I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone, when going in for a surgery you should be comfortable and your Dr should reassure you that everything will be okay. ANYTHING can happen in surgery being nervous is normal. 1 star because I can't put 0.

I just had a wisdom tooth removed and cannot have enough nice things to say about Dr. Blatter and his staff. The consultation process was quick and easy, with honest opinions provided by Dr. Blatter. Some doctors and dentists try to push unneeded surgeries for extra money, but Dr. Blatter gave me honest feedback and said I could hold off on one tooth as it was not needed at this time. On the day of my wisdom tooth removal, I was running late due to a schedule mishap on my part. Lynette of the front staff was nice enough to squeeze me in way past my initial time. The procedure was quick, and I am one wisdom tooth gone. I highly recommend Dr. Blatter for anyone looking for a truly honest opinion and great staff.

I previously had a post surgery appointment and I had a family emergency and wasn't able to make it to the appoint so I cancel the appointment. Today I called to make an appointment and the receptionist was extremely rude and had a lot of attitude because I cancel my previous appointment. She said that she cannot schedule any appointment in 2 weeks and that's when I have my day off. The receptionist told me that I have to call them the same day to see if they might be able to scheduled me an appointment and I ask her why can't you book me an appointment any Wednesday since that's when I have my days off and she responded because you cancel your appointment I'm not giving to you another one. I'm not fluent in English so I asked for a Spanish representative and she said they're on their day off so then I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was the manager. This is not the way she should treat any patient, I feel like she wanted to punish me just for canceling my previous appointment and this is unfair. Lastly she told me she can schedule me whenever "SHE WANTS TO" since she's the manager.

Good people working here and dr blatter is a pro. Pulled 5 teeth and minimal pain post operation. Hopefully i never see him again though.

Dr. Blatter was referred to me by a friend, and I was very happy with the results of my implant. My husband now needs an implant, and he will also be going to see Dr. Blatter. I would highly recommend!

My son had to have several teeth pulled under anesthesia on 2 separate occasions. We knew it would be smooth sailing because my husband had the same thing done a few years back. Thanks so much to Dr. Blatter. Would and do frequently reccomend him to friends and family.
