Meet the Doctor Dr. Brett Hofmann, DDS Dr. Brett Hofmann graduated from the University of the Pacific Dental School, San Francisco in 1997. After completing an Advanced Clinical Education (ACE) general residency program he practiced for six years as an associate dentist in San Mateo, California. In January of 2005 he proudly announced the opening of his solo dental practice in Belmont, California
Dr. Hofmann's background is a journey westward that defines his diverse character. He was born and raised in Maryland, went to high school near Chicago, and received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis before attending dental school. He has settled in Burlingame, California and enjoys snowboarding, triathlon competition, and coaching youth lacrosse.
Dr. Hofmann was 2007 President of the San Mateo County Dental Society (SMCDS) and currently serves as Past President. He is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and California Dental Association (CDA).

Dr. Hofmann has to be the best dentist I have ever had. The way he cares about his patients is like no other. He goes the extra mile to make sure that you receive the best care possible. All of the office staff are warm and welcoming.

What a super office ! From the ladies at the front kind, considerate, and professional! I felt very at ease super clean office they are taking the right precautions to protect patients!! I have been a dental assistant for 35 years Nicole was awesome ! Dr Hoffman made me feel at ease! He has a super nice touch and answered all my questions and concerns! I felt he was very thorough compared to visits in the past! Super happy with my new dentist!

Dr. Hofmann and staff were incredibly professional & thorough! They went the extra mile with their additional safety precautions during this COVID pandemic that made me feel comfortable throughout my entire appointment. Top notch service- will definitely be recommending this office to others!

What a super office ! From the ladies at the front kind, considerate, and professional! I felt very at ease super clean office they are taking the right precautions to protect patients!! I had 2 chipped front teeth that Dr hoffman put veneers on 20 yrs ago. They are still strong after 20 yrs of wear. I highly recommend him to anyone I meet in need of cosmetic dental work. He does beautiful cosmetic veneers, very natural and gave me a better smile than I had before I damaged my two front teeth. Instead of only doing the 2 front teeth he recommended doing all four so that there wasn't any contrast from the other teeth. I STILL GET COMPLIMENTS ON MY TEETH FROM PEOPLE. THANKS Dr. HOFFMAN! Dr Hoffman is great! I used him for four years until I moved to Seattle. I decided to fly back down to Belmont because his treatment is so good! Great person-Great Dentist! Highly recommend!

Dr. Hofmann is an excellent dentist, really knows his work. He is reliable and very professional. He would never suggest unnecessary treatments. Also, the office team and dental hygienists are really nice and professional. I am very happy we found him. He treats both adults and kids.
