Dental implants are changing the way people live. They are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved. Patients with dental implants can smile with confidence.

Dental implants are posts, made of titanium, that are surgically placed into the jawbone where teeth are missing. The titanium post function as a tooth root substitute. The bone bonds to the titanium surface of the implant, creating a strong foundation for the artificial tooth or teeth. There is a small abutment or post that is attached to the top of the implant which allows placement the crown or cap that looks like a real tooth. See figures A and B for a description of the implant and its components.

PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE. I don't know why people in this area recommend this doctor. THE WORST FRONT OFFICE in any type of business I have ever experienced. So unprofessional they hung up on me while I was waiting to get called in to an appointment at 11:30am. 15 min of waiting and they said 10 min wait. I call and they hang up. Everything in the office is old and outdated in bad need of renovations. My wife got 5 teeth taken out and was not given enough medications. I called the oral surgeon and he recommended me to go to the emergency room which is pretty expensive instead of going to my general practitioner. I went to my general practitioner and had to get more medications from him. I don't know why the oral surgeon told me to go to emergency room? I guess he wants me to spend more money. The first time we went there for consultations. They told me the bill was going to be $7000 with 5 teeth removal and two implants. Out of instinct I told them I could not afford that. They never suggested payment plans or any type of help just said I need to pay $7000. So obviously I did not do it. Then I call back later and they say "oh you don't have to pay the whole thing now. It takes 6 months for bone grafts to heal so you only need to pay $2500. Okay, better. They finally agreed to a payment plan which I don't know why they were so reluctant with pandemic going on. Sorry I lost my job and can't foot out $7000. The thing is they never told me this information from the beginning they just let me walk out the door saying I can not pay for it. Usually you are seen a week after surgery, but this office is so understaffed I could not be seen till the 11th day. I come to the appointment 5 minutes early. They tell me 10 min wait. I wait 15 min, 10 more minutes please. It's been 30 min from my appointment and they still haven't seen me or called me in. Update: they said 10 more minutes and they saw me in 5 minutes. WOW their estimation was somewhat correct. Congratulations, I guess third time is the really the charm at least for this office. Terrible customer service, the front office has a bad attitude and terrible with customers. The oral surgeon is prolly the most friendly if I had to say one was. I would give this place zero stars if I could. Please don't waste your time and money on an outdated, slow and unprofessional business. Oh I almost forgot. I told them I had pain in my wisdom tooth in the back. I needed 4 teeth removed, I tried to make an appointment. They said the next available appointment was a month and a half. Um, okay I'll go somewhere else. I got a consultation and the teeth removed in less than a week at a different office. Please go somewhere else guys, this place is terrible. Oh my wife had 5 teeth removed and she got light sedation?!? She saw the whole surgery and stitching, very traumatic. This office is so old , they don't do deep sedation. They said it's too dangerous. I had a much less complicated surgery and they gave me deep sedation. Terrible communication and terrible service . I wish there was a button to give negative stars cause I would've gave them -5 stars. Oh update: the oral surgeon started yelling and lecturing my wife. I don't got time for this unprofessional and terrible business. The oral surgeon told my wife to get out of his office and never come back. Wow very professional. I thought you were a surgeon for 30 years? Very professional wow. Oral surgeon asked if my wife went to emergency room. She said no, why would I pay so much money at an emergency room. He replies "so you're blaming me for the pain" . No man, we went to general practitioner so we don't pay $150 for emergency room visit with insurance. Very unprofessional , please stay away from here. Also he said he would call our dentist that recommended him to us and say what kind of people we are. Haha I'm almost 100% sure that he thought the dentist knew us since we are all Asian. Wow so professional. Good job Dr. Brenton Burger.

I had my wisdom teeth taken out here. The staff were very nice and helpful with explaining why it was necessary and what was going on. I was a bit nervous but Dr. Burger and the staff did everything they could to put me at ease. They even let me pick what music I wanted to hear during the operation (Christmas music btw). Thanks again to Dr. Burger and the staff for all the help and the smooth process!

Got my implants from Dr. Burger. Staff was courteous and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. My implants came out beautifully. Absolutely satisfied, well worth the cost. Dr. B is highly recommended. He definitely knows what he is doing. If I had another set of teeth I will go see him again!!

I'd like to start off with the cliche but true statement, that I do not often write reviews. I love my dentist, but she informed me that the way my wisdom tooth came in was right next to (possibly around) a nerve in my jaw, and it was poking out just enough to catch food in it that can't really get flossed out. She recommended a specialist. I don't remember the name, I'm sure they do just fine work, but they scared me right out of the procedure. That surgeon mentioned it was a small chance, but a possibility nonetheless, that I may never be able to control my lower jaw ever again. I thought to myself, I'll just keep the tooth and thank you for your time. A few years passed and it had began to bleed and hurt when I brushed my teeth. I immediately went back to my dentist who recommended Dr. Burger. I made a consultation appointment. Dr. Burger answered every rational and irrational question/or concern I had. He also clarified about the statement the other surgeon made about my lower jaw usage. He explained that it would still be a ridiculously small chance, but it would mean I would lose feeling in that part of my jaw. I know it may not seem like much, but I found it way more comforting than not being able to control it. Everything was very professional, and everyone was very understanding and accommodating to my anxiety about every step of this procedure. From making the appointments, giving, and explaining, all of my options, to working with my insurance to get me the best deal, and even literally holding my hand while I was in the chair. I'm a 29 year old male that put this extraction off for years. They gave me a comfort blanket, let me play music to relax me, and again, held my hand until I felt comfortable. Luckily, I only had the one wisdom tooth. If I ever have to have a tooth removed I would want it to be with Dr. Burger and his awesome team. My designated driver (my girlfriend) wanted to go get coffee while I was in there. By the time she got back, the tooth was removed and I getting cleaned up for her and my son to come in to hear the post-op information in case of the likely event I'd forget everything they said to me, which was also already printed out as well. Overall, it was less than an hour, and if I went here first I wouldn't have put it off as long as I did. I don't think I could say enough nice things about the way this surgery was handled. I'd recommend anyone who needs a tooth removed or has any fear of dental surgery go see Dr. Burger (and his awesome team), and if you've already seen someone about what needs to be done, I'd still recommend getting a second opinion from Dr. Burger. I'm still recovering from the surgery, yesterday as I'm typing this. I hope this review helps anyone having trouble with their mouth, or any fears of having work done in their mouth (as I've always been in that boat myself) I feel a lot better knowing if I have to have something done, Dr. Burger would be able to explain options and offer solutions.

Dr. Burger and his staff are great! Dr. Burger is extremely skilled and knows what he's doing. His staff is so helpful at making me feel at ease. I had a wisdom teeth surgery and has almost no pain afterwards. I would highly recommend - my husband had the same surgery and treatment, with the same incredibly positive experience. Teeth treatment and surgery can be scary, expensive and awful but Dr. Burger and his staff make it all possible and easy.
