Dr. Fulkerson was born and raised in Henderson. After graduating from the University of Kentucky with his dental degree, he completed a 2 year pediatric dental residency at Indiana University and James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.
Upon completion of his residency, he obtained a Masters of Science in Dentistry Degree (M.S.D.) with a Minor in Oral Pathology. After returning home to open his practice in 1998, he achieved his Board Certification. This demonstrates the highest commitment and level of recognition within Pediatric Dentistry.

Been going here for years with my kids and I couldn't ask for a better dentist they are so good with them and my kiddos look forward to going to their dentist appointments

My daughter has been going here for her whole life.. almost everytime I bring her here since Covid 19, I call and check in. I'm usually 5 mins or so early so I know I'll be waiting. Everytime there will be 2-3 more cars pull up AFTER me, some will get out look at the sign on the door and go back to there cars to call and check in. They always get called in before us. Today her appt was at 11am I got here at 10:55am it's 11:15 I have called and asked how they were allowed to get called in before us everytime we come, I got cut off by whoever answered. Every family that got her AFTER us but went in BEFORE us was White, me and my daughter are Black. U tell me how this keeps happening? If I had another option for her I would pull her out of here asap! I don't like this at all.

So since my 12 year old has not been to the office in a few years and has had no problems they dropped him as a client. Awesome way to handle clients who have only seen one Dentist their whole life!

I absolutely loved this place until a few years later I found out they charged me for a pulled tooth that was never pulled on my child then when it actually got pulled I had to pay out of pocket through someone else cuz it stated that tooth had already been pulled

Best dentist around for children very good staff and dr fulkerson is excellent with children makes them feel comfortable and doesnt mind being asked a bevy of questions

My daughter recently had her first visit here and the staff was all very nice and friendly to us. The dr was very compassionate in explaining work that she would need and the options that we had. The staff up front was also very friendly in scheduling her follow up appointment And getting my estimate. Look forward to interacting with the team here again .

Dr. Simmons is Amazing!! She is patient and kind and I am so happy to have her as my son's dentist!! Also, a special thank you to the hygienist, Laney! I am so appreciative of your both for outstanding service and care! If you have a child with special needs I highly recommend Dr. Simmons!

It was super cold in there today, COLD LIKE THE OFFICE MANAGERS HEART!!! Simmons and Fulkerson are the best dentist's in town. We have been coming for years and my kids love coming. The assistants in the back are amazing also, especially Laney!! But those girls up front have lack of people and communication skills... Rude, rude and super rude... There is one girl thats actually pretty nice, we went to school together and I don't remember her name. Super Rude and cold hearted would be the office manager. I have 5 kids and thats a lot of dental and dr visits a year. I missed 1 appt in years and they were going to refuse to see my daughter in pain unless I paid $25. I refrained from saying the things I wanted. Thats not the person or mom I am. But yes I wanted too.... Wow after all the appointments and services. Seriously thinking about finding a new practice but only because of the staff. Katherine Williams
