IN THE BEGINNING.Dr. Burket was born in Iowa City, Iowa, but when he was just a two years old, his parents moved to Riverside, California where his dad, a Dermatologist, began his practice. After a few short years the family moved to Medford, Oregon. Dr. Burket senior, built a Dermatology practice and served the community for over 30 years. He also taught classes in Dermatology at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. Dr. & Mrs. Burket Sr. have 6 children. 3 are physicians (one of which is Dr. Bradly Burket), & 3 are business owners.
After graduating from Willamette University, Dr. Burket was accepted into Oregon Health Sciences Universitys Dental School in Portland, Oregon. There he earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree. (D.M.D.)
Early in his junior year of dental school, he made the decision to apply to medical school, also at OHSU. Since hed completed over 2 years of dental school, he completed his dental degree with the notion that he would practice dentistry and medicine in a small community. After graduating in June of 1989, he then matriculated at OHSUs School of Medicine in the fall of 1989. In 1990, during his sophomore year of medical school, Dr. Burket married his wife, Julie, whom hes known since 7th grade.
During his senior year in medical school, Brad and Julie welcomed their first son, Quinn. By then, Brad decided to specialize in Family Medicine. He was accepted into one of the nations top rural training Residency programs
The Burkets packed up their few belongings and moved to Greeley, Colorado where Dr. Burket attended Northern Colorado Family Medicine Rural Residency program. Brad and Julie were thrilled with the news that their 2nd son, Hayden, would be joining them the next fall. 1994 was the hottest summer on record in Colorado, so Haydens arrival was not soon enoughBrad was on call and at the hospital for a weekend, and Julie went into labor. She loaded up Quinn, their Black Lab, Clyde, and drove to the hospital. Julies doctor didnt make it in time and Brad had the honor of delivering Hayden!
Finally out of school and residency, the Burket crew was ready to have daddy start working in the Real World. They headed back to the west and moved to Prineville, Oregon. At last, Dr. Burket could provide medical and dental care to residents in a rural setting. He was able to utilize his surgical and procedure training and he also served as Chief of Obstetrics for many years. Brad and Julie welcomed their 3rd child, a daughter, Skylar, while living in Prineville. Brad also had the wonderful experience of delivering their baby girl, born just 51 minutes after arriving at the hospital.
After settling in Prineville, focusing on his practice and raising kids for 6 years, the Burkets moved their family to Bend. Avid skiers, the family was anxious to be close to Mt. Bachelor, and the mountain lakes in the summer. They opened up the medical/dental practice in the fall of 2002 on Wyatt Court. In 2007 they purchased the building of the current practice.
In 2009, Julie started Right at Home In Home Care. She has experienced continued growth and success and has achieved status in The Presidents Circle, a corporate award earned for revenue benchmarks, and building an exceptional agency in the industry.
Dr. Burket and Julie are looking forward to the next phase of their lives. With a college graduate and 2 kids at University of Oregon, and little Adah in Middle School, they can breathe a little easier and enjoy Central Oregon a little more. The family enjoys Oregon Duck Football, Duck hunting, skiing, fishing, and traveling.
After 25 years and bringing an estimated 2500 babies into the world, Dr. Burket and Julie made the decision for him to stop providing Obstetric care in July of 2015. Although Dr. Burket has loved every minute of delivering babies, he and Julie are ready to spend more time together and to actually drive one car to their social events! Dr. Burket continues to provide care for newborns through adulthood.
Molly grew up in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and received her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of North Dakota. Over the past seven years shes worked as an RN in a variety of settings including bone marrow transplant, ICU, emergency department, oncology/hematology, hospice, and a pain procedure clinic. Molly worked as an R.N. in Spain, and England.
Molly and her husband moved to Bend in 2013 and love spending time on the lakes, rivers, mountains, and forest with our pup, Teka. Molly is a perfect addition to our team, and we are so thrilled to have her!
She earned her Dental Hygiene Bachelor of Science degree at Oregon Health Sciences University, graduating with high honors. In addition, she volunteers for the Kemple Clinic, which provides dental care for children and where she enjoys speaking Spanish with the Spanish children.
Ruby moved to Bend in 1991 from Jackson Hole, Wy. and continues her passion for alpine skiing, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, fly fishing and hiking with her 4 legged loves, Annie and Rock Star. In addition, she volunteers creating costumes for the local theaters.

We love Dr Burket's office! It is a very warm, friendly environment. We never feel rushed, and both Brad and Ashley take the time to listen to our concerns and needs. My kids come here and they walk in and get excited to see staff for checkups. Highly recommend!!!

Dr Burket is my PCP, Since day one he has been caring and willing to explain things even drawing diagrams on his whiteboard to show why what I thought was wrong couldn't possibly be the case. Incredibly informative and makes you feel not just seen, but also heard.

The best "dentist" experience I've had. The staff is extremely kind, the assistants/hygienists are competent and knowledgeable, and Dr Burkett has a way of bringing joy/humor to what usually isn't a fun experience.

I could not recommend this doctor more. He has seen my boys since they were 1 yr old and 4 years old. Now almost 8 years later there is no one I would trust more with their care. His after hours line is his cell phone and the maybe 3 times I have used it over the past many years he always answers no matter the hour. He is great! And his staff is amazing! They are always kind and caring. If I call with an issue we are always seen within 24 hours most times within a few hours. Best primary care out there.

Dr.Burket has been my dentist for almost 20 years, and I cant imagine going anywhere else. He is great at his job and his sense of humor is fantastic. His entire staff is wonderful- Ruby the hygienist is my favorite! Dr. Burket is an all around lovely human being!

We have just started seeing Dr. Burket as our family physician and he has been great with all of us. My Husband had a couple issues that had been bothering him for years, and in a short, painless visit with Dr. Burket they were taken care of. In the short time we've been seeing him, he's been with us through the discovery of my pregnancy and letting us see baby through ultrasound even though he doesn't do OBGYN anymore, to returning my calls/texts of worry and putting my mind at ease or suggesting I go in at certain times, and he was there for me after we found out we had had a missed miscarriage. He's very understanding, and even though he is straightforward and sometimes says what you don't want to hear, he knows it's what you need to hear and makes sure you're fully informed. He listens and gets the job done :)

Dr. Burket and Staff are amazing. I have been a patient of Dr. Burket's for over 16 years. He delivered my son and is still my son's doctor and dentist to this day. Accommodating. Smart. Intuitive. That's Dr. Burket.

Went in for a cleaning/checkup And was really impressed with the hygienist as well as Dr Burket. While I enjoy going to the dentist, I am usually not impressed at all by most dentists. It is my opinion they try to "oversell" you on services. That is NOT the case with Dr Burket. He is conservative in his treatment and does the right thing. I am very happy with his services!
