I have been treating patients in the greater Prescott area since 2006. My wife Beth and I moved to Arizona after completing a pediatric residency at the prestigious Temple Childrens Hospital in Philadelphia. Two of my five kids were born right here in Prescott. Over the years, I have coached many sports teams from multiple sports and organizations, volunteered as a Boy Scout leader for more than a decade, and am very active in our church youth group. Dr. Bobby Raber believes that happy families are important, and children in pain are not happy. Perhaps the greatest reward for Dr. Raber is the knowledge that he is helping children and families have happy, disease-free lives. Dr. Raber is always willing to give out his personal cell number and works very hard to serve children with emergencies. As an adjunct staff member at YRMC, he is prepared to help his patients in the office or in the emergency room.

Dr. Raber loves special needs children and adults. Hang around the office and you will hear him say that the special needs patients are the only ones he gets to see his whole career. Everyone else grows up and graduates to an adult dentist. Special needs patients need special care. Many dentists just dont want to spend the time or effort needed to help these children grow into regular, happy dental patients. Dr. Raber offers frequent happy visits to help acclimate to the office and staff. He often meets new patients in the parking lot and over time invites them into the office, operatory, and finally the dental chair. Dr. Raber has hospital privileges and offers a full spectrum of sedation and general anesthesia. Many of his special needs patients came from offices where the prior doctor just would not take the time or put forth the effort to help these children become happy, regular dental patients.

Parents need to know whats going on in the dental office. Dr. Raber allows and encourages parents to be present in the operatory during every procedure including restorative dentistry, oral sedation, and in-office general anesthesia. This allows parents the opportunity to take part in treatment decisions and behavior management when their child is scared and needs the reassurance of a parent.

Dr. Raber discourages the use of a papoose board unless medically necessary in emergent situations. He believes that restoring a tooth is a complete failure if the child was traumatized in the process. The experiences his patients have in his office today will affect whether they continue going to the dentist for the rest of their lives. Dr. Raber believes in treating the child, not just the teeth.

As a board-certified pediatric dentist, Dr. Raber is an advocate for higher education and staying up on the cutting edge of products used in dentistry. He believes in using minimally invasive techniques to preserve tooth structure, decrease the amount of treatment, and minimize radiographic exposure to our children. There are many chemicals and foreign substances used in dentistry, many of which are carcinogenic or otherwise potentially harmful. Rest assured that Dr. Raber has taken a great effort in ensuring minimal exposure to anything that could one day prove harmful to our children.

Perhaps his greatest flaw (if you can call it that!) is his personable character. He takes the time (sometimes too much time!) to get to know each and every one of his patients, gaining their trust in the process. He truly loves to get to know his patients and their families. I am one of the hygienists here at Dr. Bob's office and I have been in the dental field since 1995 and practicing hygiene since 2002. I am Expanded Functions Certified (this means I can place fillings and stainless steel crowns) and anesthesia certified.

I am married with two daughters (who love to see Dr. Raber), three cats, and one dog. In my spare time, I love to hike, kayak, and do almost anything that has to do with the beautiful Prescott outdoors. We also love to travel.

I was born in California and have lived in Arizona since I was 5. I have been in the dental field since 2012, I have my Coronal Polishing and Radiation health and safety certificates. I have been working for Dr. Raber since April of 2021. I have been a patient of his since I was a child, and he has always done the best for me and my siblings. I have been with Dr. Raber since 2009, and have loved every minute! I am a true Prescottonian, born and raised here in Prescott. I went to Miller Valley and Taylor Hicks grade schools, graduated from PHS, and then attended BYU and graduated with a BFA in Interior Design. After graduating, I worked in San Francisco for three months but felt drawn back to this wonderful community.

After returning home, I joined my brother Steve as an owner of Marlers Furniture, a family business that started back in 1947 by my grandpa Marler. We sold the furniture store in 2008 and thats what led me to Dr. Raber. My wife Karen and I have raised five kids with three grandkids and counting!

Im the do-everything person;if Matt doesnt want to do it, I have to! I started in the dental field, working with Dr. Raber in 2017. Our team and Dr. Raber are amazing and have really become a family. We love to have fun and we also have the best pot lucks! The best part of my job is interacting with our patients and seeing their beautiful smiles. I love building relationships with our patients and their families.

I am a native of our beautiful state of Arizona. I grew up in Mesa and graduated from Thatcher High School in the Gila Valley. So far, life's journey has taken my family to many places like Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas then after a few more moves we eventually came back to the Phoenix Valley.

Life decided to take an unexpected turn, which blessed my five fantastic kids with three more siblings and a wonderful stepdad. Our blended family then moved to Grapevine, TX before we ventured back to settle in Prescott. My husbandTomand I have been extremely blessed with eight amazing kiddos, the sweetest daughters-in-law ever, and some very active grandkids that call me Mammah.

In my 'spare time,' I enjoy cooking andspending time outdoors with my kids and my fur babies. My husband and I also own an off-road tour business called Angry Ape Off-Road. We take customers out on some of the breathtaking trails that surround the Prescott area. Our future plans see us retiring in Prescott, lounging in a hammock under the pines, and enjoying the grandkids.

I had been working in the medical field for many years in Illinois and Florida when I decided to relocate with my family. I moved to Prescott in 2015 and soon started my career as an insurance specialist for medical, occupational therapy, and now pediatric dental!

I have five vivacious nieces and nephews who love to join me here at the dentist! My other passions are yoga and vegan cooking, both of which I have been learning and teaching for the past three decades. I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, and tackling new challenges. A little something interesting about me isI have a passion for movement. I've danced my whole life. I've studied ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, partner dance, Latin rhythms, clogging, and tap. I currently teach Zumba and Barre fitness classes. I wish Prescott had an indoor skating rink because I love to roller skate. I'm an absolute music junky. I'm terrible at video games and packing for trips. I enjoy cooking and eating healthy foods. I'm obsessed with herbal tea and dark chocolate. Five amazing kids call me Mom. I'm married to my best friend, Bobby Raber. Being together as a family brings us the greatest joy. Together we like to go to church, play board/card games, eat popcorn and watch movies, go for hikes, and camp in the summers.
