Dr. Maley grew up in Minneapolis and moved across the river togethis undergraduate degree at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. Hes lived in the Highland Park area of St. Paul ever since. He started his dental career serving bigger, corporate clinics, which gave him exposure to complex cases, multiple specialties, and preventive care research and treatment. But he always dreamed of running his own clinic, where he could assemble a dynamite dental team and build relationships with his patients in a friendly, neighborhood setting. With the opening Dr. Bob Family Dentistry, hes realizing his dream every day.
When hes not practicing dentistry, Dr. Maley enjoys hanging out with his family, biking, fly fishing, and all things outdoors, especially around Minnesotas North Shore and the North Woods of Wisconsin. He also volunteers his time through his parish and has traveled to Peru for several weeks in past years to share his gifts with the poor of Chimbote.He lives in Highland Park with his wife and two kids. Dr. Thomas grew up in the Mac-Groveland neighborhood and currently lives in Mendota Heights. He earned his undergraduate degree in finance at the University of Iowa and graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, where he was awarded a scholarship by the faculty for Professionalism and Excellence in Patient Care.
I was born congenitally missing my upper canine teeth. I spent all of high school with large gaps in my smile. After years of spacers, expanders, braces, and retainers, my bite was finally ready for two prosthetic teeth. I will never forget the day I received my new smile. Due to the careful and gifted work by my dentist and orthodontist, I was able to regain confidence in my smile and personality. The transformation I personally experienced opened my eyes to the amazing field of dentistry.

Val has been with us since 2003.She loves easing patients anxieties about their dental care so they can get the most out of their time with us. She is thankful for the opportunity to meet so many interesting and wonderful people each day, as she helps them learn new and helpful oral care. Mandi loves the family feel of the office and the ability to build relationships. Her favorite part of the job is making connections with her patients and putting fearful people at ease.
Life outside of work is filled with family and friends. With four uber-energetic boys, her family spends loads of time at sporting events. When she gets a free moment, she enjoys exercising and taking trips to the lake.
Meredith began at our office as a dental assistant. Now she combines her clinical knowledge and business skills to ensure patients insurance claims get paid and their accounts settled. Shes also one of the friendly, welcoming team membersyoull meet when you call or visit the office. Meredith is committed to making sure every patient has a good experience here, helping them understand all the elements and costs of their treatment and feel good about proceeding. No surprises is her aim.
When shes not at the office, she loves hanging out with her children. Playing dance games, singing karaoke, watching horror and mystery movies, traveling, and eating new exciting foods add extra joy to her life.
Lynda is a lifer, having worked with Dr. Maley for most of both of their careers. Lyndas aim is to make every patients experience comfortable and positive. She gets great rewards out of seeing the results of their work and the happy smile of patients. She has completed extensive trainingwhich enables her to expand beyond her regular assisting duties.
Visiting the dentist might not be peoples favorite thing to do. A gets that and makes it her job to ensure patients leave their visit feeling well cared for, their questions answered, and looking forward to coming back. She was drawn to our office after watching the sense of caring our team exhibits with patients. A welcomes the chance to continuously learn on the job. As she sees it, if youre not learning, youre not growing.
When off duty, A enjoys traveling and experiencing new things, having already visited Laos, Thailand and South Korea. When shes stateside, you can catch her cooking up a storm or jamming to music with friends and family.
