Dr. Moldauer is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists, the Florida Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the South Florida District Dental Association, the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an International Honor Dental Organization.
He served as Associate Director of Postgraduate Endodontics and Associate Director of Predoctoral Endodontics at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. He has published on the Pathogenesis of Periapical Pathology, Evaluation of Ultrasonics in Endodontics, Evaluation of different methods of Retreatment Techniques and the use of Cone Beam Computed Tomography for the evaluation of the internal morphology of mandibular molars . Currently, he is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Endodontics and Co-Director of the Postgraduate Surgical Endodontics Course at NSU-CDM and served as an endodontic consultant at the Miami Veterans Administration Hospital GPR program.
Dr. Moldauer serves on the scientific advisory board of the Journal of the American Association of Endodontics. He trains Endodontic residents across the world and is a visiting Professor at Universidad Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru, Universidad Garcilaso de la Vega, Lima Peru, Universidad Autonoma de Tlaxcala in Mexico and Universidad Santo Tomas in Colombia, South America.
From 2013 to 2015, Dr. Moldauer directed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at Larkin Hospital in South Miami, served as the Chairman of Endodontics and Director of Dental Continuing education at the same institution.
He uses the latest technological advances in endodontics and provides specialized endodontic care including microsurgery, root canal treatment, endodontic retreatment, and treatment of traumatic injuries to the teeth. Twice a year Dr. Moldauer organizes mission trips to provide free dental care to the underserved in Guatemala and Belize.
Dr. Sarmiento received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Universidad El Bosque in Bogota, Colombia in 2011 and completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, FL. Dr. Sarmiento furthered his dental education and received his specialty certificate in endodontics from Nova Southeastern University-College of Dental Medicine. At Nova, he was awarded with the prestigious Seymore Oliet, DMD Endodontic Award.
Dr. Sandra Ogando earned her first Dental degree in 1997 and graduated as an Endodontist for the second time at Nova Southeastern University in the year 2018. She specializes in the treatment of root canals and endodontic surgeries, management and treatment of traumatic dental injuries and internal tooth whitening. She believes in providing excellent and compassionate endodontic care to her patients. She is a member of the American Association of Endodontists. In her spare time she loves going to the Miami Heat games with her family. She stays current with the new advances in Endodontics by attending innovative continuing education courses.

I had an extremely complicated situation with my tooth and gums. After seeing three different dentists who wanted to pull my tooth instead of saving it, I went for a consultation with Dr. Moldauer. Dr. Moldauer not only promised to save my tooth, he actually found out that there was a piece of dirt left by a previous specialist stuck in my gums!! I had a terrible infection. Dr. Moldauer preformed three root canals in order to make sure the infection was gone. I experienced no pain whatsoever. Dr. Moldauer and his office staff were extremely professional and so caring. I highly recommend him and his team!!

I am overwhelmed with gratitude towards Dr. Moidauer for his professionalism and compassion during the much needed work I received from him. Zero discomfort added to my gratitude. I've had multiple root canals done by him and would highly recommend him. Also noted, the staff was pleasant , knowledgeable and efficient. So in general my experience there was EXCELLENT ! P.S. on a personal level Dr. Moldauer is a stand up guy.

I had a very difficult situation with a tooth where I needed a root canal done three times over a course of four months. Dr. Ivan Moldauer did an amazing job each time and got out of his way to be supportive throughout this difficult time. I recommend him because he is not just a good dentist, but because he strives for professional excellence and his human kindness is very present at all times. I am very grateful.

I've had two root canals with other doctors and Dr Moldauer is by far the most professional Doctor I have dealt with... it took a lot of research to find him and I'm glad I did. Great work, great assistants, great service and location! Recommended 100%

Dr. Moldauer's office is amazing! I was very impressed with how kind everyone was. Dr. Moldauer was very gentle, he explained everything, and made me feel very comfortable. This was my first root canal and I was surprised at how quick and easy it was. I had no discomfort at all! I will definitely tell all my friends to go here! Dr Moldauer took care of a root canal and happy to say that it was a NO pain experience. Initially I was in so much pain , I didn't even know what tooth was aching. He took care of identifying correctly the right tooth, then clearly explain the procedure, potential outcomes and then work efficiently on fixing my situation. Hi staff is nice and helped me minimize the nervousness I had when I arrived. Highly recommend him

He has a very gentle touch, and I did not feel the needle at all. His entire staff is very lovely, and the office is clean, and up to date with technology.
