Dr. Benjamin Metz is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University where his surgical dentistry doctorate was earned in 1987. He earned his Certificate and Masters in Periodontics from Case Western Reserve University in 1989. He established himself on the East Coast following years of extensive periodontal training. Throughout the following decade, Dr. Metz maintained a busy practice while providing exclusive periodontal care to patients throughout the Northeast Tri-State region. In order to establish himself in an ever evolving field, Dr. Metz has attended numerous nationwide seminars and training programs to master the state of the art techniques in the field of periodontics.

Dr. Metz and his staff are so wonderful. I was treated very well and they are also very thorough in their explanations and answering questions. I was referred here by friends and I will definitely be referrering others to go see Dr. Metz as well.

If I could, I will definitely give this place a ZERO star. I don't think they deserve any stars. This is the rudest dental clinic I have ever been to in my entire life. I went to my appointment today at 3:25pm (scheduled at 3:30pm). They kept me waiting till 3:43pm and then finally started to take my x-rays. For some reason the dental assistant was obviously working with an attitude. I checked emails on my phone a few times when she was setting up the x-ray machine and she was like "Maybe you should reschedule to another appointment because I cannot do the x-ray when you are on your phone." This is simply wrong. I checked my emails before she actually started to do my x-ray and she was all acting like she were my mom and threw her attitudes at me. I did not argue with her on this and just followed her command to finish the x-ray. She said doctor will be with me in 10 minutes. I waited for 20 minutes there but I need to get back to attend a work meeting after this appointment so I asked the receptionist how much longer should I wait (my intention was if I need to wait longer I can probably come back later for the results). For some reason this dental assistant heard what I'm asking and started to lose her temper. She almost screamed at me with a very loud voice saying "There are someone before you who needs doctor's attention". I then said "Maybe next time you guys can schedule the appointment better so no one's time is wasted." She said "Oh you think your time is wasted? What about our time?" I further explained "That's not what I meant. I just said maybe you guys can schedule fewer people together during the same hour so we do not need to wait that long." Then she started to misinterpret my words by saying "You think your time is more valuable than others?" Then she said she is out and there is no way she will handle my case... I left the clinic afterwards. I feel I'm not treated with respect. I raised my valid concerns but she thought I was attacking her for not doing her job well (which is kind of true as well). I think she is very unprofessional. This is a country of free speech. I'm a customer there and I cannot even express my own honest opinions? What kind of place is that, a clinic inside a prison? For god's sake it's me paying them for my service, not the other way around. If they keep treating customers like this, well, good luck to their business! BTW, they have only one doctor, one dental assistant, one receptionist working there but I saw at least 4 patients either waiting in the lobby or waiting inside the room. I don't think they ever respect customers and value customers' time. I will NOT recommend this clinic at all! Reply to the owner: I'm reviewing the correct place. You do not need to play this "other clinic" card to try to get away from this. You guys did a bad job, just admit it. And I'm sure you know who I am but you just do not want to admit it. Shame on you!

I have been a patient of Dr. Metz for a number of years now. He is very professional and extremely respectful of his patients. He takes the time to discuss in depth your periodontal issues with you, and provides multiple options when possible in order to address periodontal problems. I would highly recommend Dr. Benjamin Metz to anyone who is in need of a Periodontist.

I had 4 front teeth pulled and will be getting implants with Dr. Metz. He is one of the most attentive Dentist/Periodontist when it comes to your experience with him. He is kind, patient and excellent at his work. I've been going to him for years and trust him with what is needed for my dental care. 5 stars for sure.

Dr. Metz and staff are amazing! The whole office is so friendly. Dr. Metz was great explaining what I needed to have done. They were spot on with what my insurance would cover and pay. If I ever need another implant I will definitely go back to Dr. Metz.

I had a great experience with Dr. Metz. He made me feel comfortable during the extensive procedure I had done. He constantly checked in to make sure I wasn't in any pain, and if I was, he took care of it right away. He and his staff are very professional and friendly.

Dr. Metz is great. He loves what he does and it shows in his patient care and treatment as well as his attitude. He communicates in a clear, professional and good-humored manner. Office atmosphere is pleasant; staff are always kind and helpful too. Cool music puts the icing on the cake.
