Dr. Benjamin L. Hanson, DDS - General dentist in Trenton, MI

Dental implants continue to be the leading solution for many patients with missing teeth because they are attached to the jaw bone. The placement phase involves attaching one or more dental implants directly to the jaw bone through a surgical procedure. Dr. Hanson uses guided implant surgery techniques to ensure optimal placement of dental implants and can perform preparatory procedures, such as bone graftingand tooth extractions, in-house before your procedure. Once the implants are surgically placed, they are left to heal for a few months until they are fully integrated with the bone. During this healing phase, your custom crown, denture or bridge will be designed. We perform the entire surgery and final restorations in our office so its easy for you to get the treatment you need for missing teeth.

Hello, My name is Dr Nikki Moshiri and I am excited to start my northern journey with my new dental family at Brownstown Dental Care. Born and Raised just across the Detroit River in Windsor, Ontario, following my undergraduate studies at the University of Windsor, I travelled to south Florida to begin dental school.

Often I am asked what is my favorite part about dentistry. My response is, Making Smiles. Whether it be addressing and relieving the source of pain, a chipped tooth, an Invisalign or Smile makeover reveal, or a happy visit for our little ones, Making smiles for families is why I chose Dentistry.

The dentist is great. He is professional and he knows what he's doing, and you don't feel a thing because he numbs you up very well. The first time I went to him was when I had a very painful abscessed tooth, and he saw me that same day and saved me. I've recommended him to several family members over the years. My chief complaint about this place is the women who work behind the counter. They act like pushy, rude loan sharks. In the past, they've gotten pushy with me and demanded I sign up for credit cards and such, but I let their pushy antics slide because I liked the dentist a lot. The final straw was just recently when I had some work done and was supposed to have the rest done at a later date but had to change my appointment date, and they kept sending me a bill for that work that had never even been done yet. When I called them about it, they told me that I better pay the balance for that "future work"(??) that had not been done yet or they were going to send it to collections. The woman on the phone actually argued with me. I have no choice now but to have the rest of that work done here, but next thing I'm doing is cancelling my future cleanings with them and I will be finding another dentist to do work with. Dr. Hanson, please work on the etiquette of your staff! They drove a patient that you've had for several years away for good, and I certainly won't be recommending anyone else here again!

I had a rather large procedure this morning. They where some of the most professional staff I have had the privilege of having dental work done by. Thank you Dr. Hanson! Great job! I drove all the way from Kalamazoo, MI to have work done by this doctor. My previous restorative dentist had some health complications. The first person he called was Dr. Hanson! He is that GOOD!

Such a HORRIBLE experience! I had teeth extracted with a immediate upper denture. The denture has not fit since day 1. The back of the denture near my throat hangs down so much I cant talk or eat without gagging. There is a huge gap between my palate and the denture in the back. When the impression was taken it wasn't taken on plane. There was more pressure on the front versus the back making it hang lower in the back. When I went in for my check up the next day I never seen the doctor and the assistant dismissed all my concerns saying it was because of the swelling. I again explained it does not fit right at all. I cant eat or talk because it hangs down in the back by my throat so much it gags me. I called again Friday explaining my concerns about it not fitting right and the fact I can't eat or speak without gagging and got upset because it will be two weeks before they could get me in. I literally cry everyday because I am so upset I cant wear it and have to wear it enough to go to work. It's been nothing but a nightmare since day one and no one at the office seems to care and was rude when I became very upset because they are not listening to me. I worked 20 years in the dental field and know a bad fitting denture due to bad dental impressions, VERY DISAPPOINTED and VERY UPSET. Review edited on 1/21: I apologize, I had called on Thurs. 1/16 @ 8:50 am. The soonest appt. that I was given was Mon. 1/27 @ 4:00. I was out on the cancelation list in which they had called me on 1/20 a couple of hours prior to an appt. I was unable to make it as I dont have the availability at my work to just leave on a short notice. My name is Laura. Review edited on 1/23/2020: After telling the office numerous times I can not due to my job and the fact I travel all over southeastern Michigan I can not make a same day appointment, I need at least 12 hour notice. They called yesterday and I didnt get the voicemail until after the office was closed. I called this morning and they had informed they called because they had another same day appointment. She (Richelle) Informed me that the doctor wanted to know if I still wanted to be a patient going forward because they have offered me several appointments and I didn't want them. First, I have explained on every phone call that I can not make same day appointments because of my job. I am a single mother with one income and I can not lose my only income. Secondly, what Dentist would make such an assertion because I did not come in for appointments I they offered when it was made clear numerous times I would not be able to make these with less tha a few hour notice appts? If in fact this came from Dr. Hanson it is very disappointing to say the least. So the narrative is we offered you appts. and you refused. As the conversation went on I stressed that I am unable to eat or speak because the back part of the denture hung down so low that it touch my gag reflex on my tongue. She stated sarcastically "well you seem to be talking fine right now". I was shocked and told her it was because it did not have the denture in my mouth currently. I am truly disappointed in this office. Richelle had been condescending during the conversation. I stated I had worked in the dental field 20 years and know when a denture is poorly made. She stated then you should know that an immediate denture does not fit well. Again I stressed there is a difference between a ill fitting denture and one that doesn't not fit at all. I told her I can get the back palate area to fit but there is a huge gap in the anterior of my mouth or I can get the front to fit and the back hangs down into my throat. When I made apts. for paid services I was given a quick appt., quite another situation when I needed a follow up no fee service. Edited 1/27/220: I received a call from Michelle @ Dr. Hanson's office. She stated Dr. Hanson is refusing to see me today for my 4:00 appt. which I find disheartening but I am also relieved because of the level of disrespect coming from this office.
