Dr. Ben Mokhtar graduated from SUNY Stony Brook in 1995. He has been practicing dentistry for fifteen years. He specialized in preventative dentistry, restoration, reconstruction, rehabilitation, cosmetics and implants. Braces and invisalign are also a part of his numerous dental abilities. Dr. Ben's Implantology emphasizes on tissue punch technique with minimum invasive and minimum time so that the patient can be back to their normal daily routines immediately. He is a fellow member of the International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI), and an associate beneficiary of the American Association of Implant Dentistry (AAID).

The most positive experience I had in my life. The deep cleaning feels like a massage for my teeth and gums. Absolutely amazing experience. You won't regret visiting Dr Ben.

It's been 2yrs since I've seen Dr Ben. The staff pretends to be friendly until it's time to solve a problem. I seen Dr Ben in 2020 he did not want to use my insurance stated the "my insurance is trash" I had to put my own claim in. Upon putting my claim in Dr Ben has recieved a refund, It's 2022 I still have not recieved any kind of refund (mind you I paid him 15,000 in full in 2020) when the company sent u a check and you know the client has paid you in full why is the client still fighting for a refund NO MATTER HOW MUCH IT IS. I'm sure some of your insurance is NOT BEING USED AS WELL BECAUSE ACCORDING TO HIM IT'S TRASH, GARBAGE, BASURA

Yesterday (8/5/22) was my second time with Dr. Mokhtar, and I must say he's definitely the dentist I'll be visiting for as long as he's in business. His and his assistant's bedside manners are phenomenally superb. I would also like to give kudos to the receptionist for not only squeezing me in last minute, but also for remembering me when I had only been there once previously, and that was over a year ago. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Still waiting on refund for services from 2020 Dr did not want to use my insurance "it's not worth anything" meanwhile it covers implants I recieved 3. Cigna dental sent Dr a refund for me in 2021 its 2022 I still have not received ANYTHING, STILL FIGHTING WUTH CIGNA N DR BEN NEXT STEP COURT

Called yesterday in pain came in today and WOW I've never had a tooth removed so fast and painles. He's good and knows what he's doing. Thank you soooo much I would refer anyone to see Dr Ben when in pain.

I was scammed of $10.000.00 for implants i never got. The day before the visit to this fraud ring, a contract was made out, sight unseen, for $10,000.00, with $2,000.00 in interest, when I asked for the price of one implant, and was told "it is affordable, honey". I was mutilated, there were no medical questions asked, I was bullied to have my teeth pulled, and lied to that I would have an abscess. All my teeth were brutally gouged out, so thousands could be scammed from my insurance. This dentist is illiterate, and his license was removed, he was fined $20,000.00, and put on supervised probation. He is a career criminal, who does nothing but scam the poor of their life savings. In addition, two top teeth were removed without my knowledge, consent or authorization, to scam my insurance for thousands of dollars. The life savings of his victims are taken out in the victim's names, with their life savings going to him, all untraced.

Def DO NOT recommend this dentist. My mom went to his office approximately two months ago for a cleaning. Before beginning to do my mom's cleaning, he "determined" that she needed a root canal and refused to do the cleaning. (He also reminded her that she needed a bridge which she reasonably did not get due to the worldwide pandemic - but this apparently upset him). His rationale for his refusal was that he would do the cleaning when he did the root canal. He claimed he would send the paperwork to my mom's insurance for the root canal approval. He also claimed her insurance would probably not pay for the bridge, but would do so for the root canal.However, he never sent the paperwork to my mom's insurance. Notably, his incompetent staff kept calling my mom non-stop for her to come in for a root canal - despite never seeking approval for one. Furthermore, his receptionist said it did not matter if the root canal was approved by mom's insurance because insurance will always cover root canals. Today, the day of the supposed root canal procedure, he claims he never said my mom needed a root canal and did not even do my mom's cleaning; he only did an x-ray. When questioned regarding what he billed my mom for today, he said he billed her for an x-ray and two section cleanings. However, he DID NOT do any cleanings on my mom today. He said that is what is his notes say and that he does not remember every patient he sees so patients are at the mercy of his alleged "notes." He even had the audacity to tell us to go to another dentist if we were dissatisfied. This is exactly what we are doing and the very thing we recommend every sane person to do. New York City has countless dentists and there is no reason to settle for unprofessionalism as exhibited by this office. His unprofessionalism made us waste our time - please save your time by seeking professionalism elsewhere.

Dr. Ben has been my dentist for many years, he so compassionate, thorough and really cares about his patients. Dr.Mokhtar has been my dentist for the past several years. I was referred by a friend and it was the best referral I could have received. I have done extensive work on my mouth including tooth implants and he has always done a great job. Dr.Mokhtar is gentle and fast. I don't spend hours in the chair when I go and he still takes his time and pays attention to my overall dental health. I highly recommend him as well as his warm and friendly staff!

Dr Ben has been my family dentist since 2005. He is like family at this point. Lol. Very professional and knowledgeable with the latest advances in his field. Easy going and makes you feel comfortable while in his office. Absolutely no complaints, thus the long history of using him. Very friendly staff as well.

Dr. Mokhtar is a competent and caring physician. Through the years, I've seen other dentists, and comparing their services to his, he provides the best care. He explains every detail, and works with you through an expeditious and realistic timeline. His great sense of humor and stories of those he's taken care round off the experience in a meaningful and pleasant way. From the front desk, through sitting in the chair, Dr. Mokhtar, his receptionist and assistants provides a holistic and pleasant experience. I highly recommend his services. I'm walking out there with a Hollywood smile.
