Dr. Bayan Rafeegraduated Cum Laude from The University of Southern California Dental School at Los Angeles, earning her DDS with honors in 2006. She is a member of the American Dental Association. Dr. Rafee chose to practice here at Essex Dental Group because of a shared belief in providing state of the art, relationship-based, comprehensive care that is tailored to fit into the lives and budgets of her patients. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and home remodeling.

Not a dentist more like a BUTCHER!!!! Went in there with pain from a cavity that she just filled not even a week ago. Come to find out she tells me I need a root canal. She starts with the procedure for root canal, very careless stuck me in my lip with the needle, throwing needle on my chest, I thought it was awkward, so did her assistant because he picked it up off my chest right away. Then I'm guessing it's part of the procedure to fill the tooth with these plastic pins more like needles where she put so much pressure the pain made me jump out of the seat. I explain to her that there is a lot of pain and she should be more cautious. She told me it was part of the procedure, and continued without a care in the world. I left there with more pain than when I came in. Fast forward three days later more pain and agony. I called her to explain what was going through and she said it was normal. I continue to ask her for my refund because I will not go there anymore, she did denied me my refund, so I didn't want to argue with her and hung up on her. I would not recommend my worst enemy to her.

Dr Bayan is sincere and amazing at her craft, she is also honest and that's hard to come by! I've known Dr Bayan for many years and would highly recommend her as a dentist.

I was in desperate need for a new dentist & thankfully I stumbled upon Dr. Rafee. My experience has been wonderful from start to finish. The girls at the front desk are super nice, they got me in for an appointment very quickly. Once I got to the office I was taken in on time & the office was very clean. You can tell they put a lot of effort into this which is more important than ever these days. The hygienist who did my cleaning was very friendly & thorough. Dr. Rafee was wonderful you can tell right away how knowledgeable she is & on top of that she is very friendly & puts you right at ease. I felt so comfortable there. Highly recommend Dr. Rafee.

My whole family switched to Dr. Rafee about 4 years ago. She has worked to correct a number of flaws in crowns from my previous dentists. She is a very knowledgeable and skilled dentist who has a kind and empathetic manner. Important to me, she is a perfectionist when ensuring a correct bite. Her admin , Deanna, has been wonderful in working to navigate the insurance billing, co-pay, deductible and adjustment process. Definitely highly recommend!

Friendly staff, gentle cleaning and I never have to wait more than 15 minutes. I also appreciate the staff calling my insurance prior to any dental procedures and working with us on the appropriate coverage

My first visit to office was for a regular cleaning and it was a great experience. The hygienist was meticulous and engaging, and the receptionist was polite and work with me on the next appointment and insurance questions. Since then I have gone back to do all the needed dental work as I got increasing comfortable. Now doing the implant - it's a long process but so far it's been going well, with the professional support and the advance equipments in place (the office is located in a non discreet shop house but you'd be surprised by how well equipped it is).
