Dr. Barry Cohen was born and raised in Gloversville, NY, and resided there until he moved to Philadelphia in 1972 to attend the University of Pennsylvania as an undergraduate, which he completed in 1976. He proceeded to graduate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1980. Since his graduation, Dr. Cohen has been a permanent fixture in the dental community of Havertown and Drexel Hill. For over 30 years now, he has worked as the Director of Continuing Education for the Chester County and Delaware Dental Society. He has also served as the Director of Continuing Education for the American Dental Association (2015). In addition to other dental procedures, Dr. Cohen is trained in both the placement and restoration of dental implants, and will work closely with you throughout the entirety of the dental implant process. Dr. Cohen is consistently voted one of the top dentists in the area by Philadelphia Magazine and the Mainline Today Magazine.
Dr. Cohen is married to the love of his life, and has three beautiful children. When he is not practicing dentistry or participating in the Drexel Hill community, he can be found skiing or cycling, as well as spending time with his family.
Dr. Lisa Yosevitz fell in love with dentistry at an early age through a high school mentorship program. Her passion for dentistry led her to Franklin & Marshall College where she earned a B.A. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and then to the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her D.M.D. Following dental school, Dr. Lisa completed a general practice residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Dr. Lisa strives to provide dental care with a gentle approach and ensures that every patient is not only comfortable while in her dental chair, but also understands the treatment being prescribed. As a percussionist growing up, she is a fan of all genres of music so dont be surprised if you hear her humming along to Dr. Cohens playlist!
Dr. Lisa currently lives in Philadelphia with her partner. Outside of the office, she loves to explore new restaurants in the city, travel abroad, and spend time with her family, especially her 2 nephews!
To assist Dr. Cohen and Dr. Schlesinger in providing the very best dental care, we employ an expertly trained staff. Many members of our staff have been working with Dr. Cohen and Dr. Schlesinger for over 20 years. They provide a warm and friendly atmosphere to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Each and every member of our staff attends continuing education courses to provide the most up to date, comprehensive care available.
I grew up in the Philadelphia area and moved to Delco in 1996 where I have resided since. I am married with 2 beautiful children and 3 wonderful grandchildren. I have been working with Dr. Cohen creating smiles, as his office manager since 1981. I enjoy gardening, RV-ing and spending time with my family.
I graduated from Temple University School of Dental Hygiene and have been happily practicing for 36 years. For the last 16 years I have been a part of the extraordinary dental team at Dr. Cohens office. I have enjoyed being a part of Give Kids a Smile Day for the last 10 years, which is held at our office every spring. I am married to my husband John and we have four wonderful children. I enjoy Sunday dinners with my family, playing tennis, taking a run and working with my patients!
I have been a practicing dental hygienist for 32 years. (I started at 10 years old) The last 21 years have been with Dr. Cohen. I taught dental hygiene for 15 years at Harcum College and U. Penn School of Dentistry. Along with my husband and 2 kids, we enjoy the great outdoors, concerts and travel.
I have been a dental assistant for over 25 years and have been working in this terrific office since 2012 . I feel blessed to have two wonderful daughters and I have lived in Delaware County my entire life. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends as well as helping my patients feel comfortable in our office.
Ive been working in our wonderful office since 1988. I am originally from Orleland, PA and I went to Montgomery Bucks Community College where I studied to be a dental hygienist. I am married to Dr. Cohen and we have two beautiful daughters. We love to be outdoors and enjoy biking, hiking, skiing and camping.
After living in Philadelphia most of my life, I attended All-State Career in 2010, where I studied to get my expanded functions dental assistant license. Ive been working with Dr. Cohen for 4 years now and love my dental family! I have a son who is my world. We enjoy doing outdoor activities and family vacays. And I love creating smiles!
I was born and raised in Delaware County, PA. In 2012, I attended All- State Career School where I received my license to practice as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. Im a boy-mom to my adorable 2 yr old son! I absolutely love everything about dentistry and creating timeless smiles! Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family!

Barry has been my dentist for over 30 years. He is always professional and takes excellent care of his patients He has always been my go to dentist. I love the people in his office, they are pleasant and greet you with a warm friendly greeting.

Dr Cohen and his team are the BEST! They have taken care of my whole family for years and we love them. My 27 year old daughter has lived in NY for years now, but still insists on coming home to see the dentist! Dr Cohen, all the hygienists, and all the staff are like family!

My teeth are in the best care on earth with the most knowledgeable and educated staff ... I owe every single tooth to Dr. Cohen and his staff. I have short roots and they have saved every one ... In addition to being the best practice you could possibly go for the care of your teeth, the entire staff is kind, caring, knowledgeable, capable and up to date on equipment and all that is new in our ever changing world of technology! I feel like family as soon as I walk into the office ... It is my least favorite place I want to be ...
