Background and Credentials Creating beautiful smiles in Long Beach since 1993, Dr. Barbara A. James graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry with honors. She attended the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She also attended the University of Nevada graduating with a nursing degree and went on to become a Registered Nurse.
It has been because of her integrity and patient centered philosophy that she has developed a successful and thriving dental practice with a high standard of care. Her nurturing personality has promoted trusting relationships with her patients.

Dr. James and her staff take away dentistry anxiety with their caring professionalism. I have had many dental procedures done by Dr. James and my experiences have been great; she is personable, kind and very skilled in dentistry. I have been extremely satisfied with the results. The atmosphere is always very relaxing which adds another level of comfort. I recommend Renaissance Dental to anyone looking for an above par dentist in a stress-free environment.

Da place was great. Dr. James & her lovely staff members are wonderful & great peoples. They welcoming u as soon u step in da door. Da place is very clam & relaxing. For da staffs: u Christina (I'm sorry but I'm bad at remembering names, so I hope dat is her name? If not, I apologize for dat), she's real pretty with beautiful lovely brown eyes & have a sweet, positive, fun attitude when u meet her. Den u have Rose who u meet on da phone. She's really great with u on da phone & even in person. Den u have da lovely funny assistant Angie (& again, I apologize if I forgot their names). She really cool & fun & an awesome assistant, give her a big smile when u see lol. & for Dr. James herself is really great as well. She tells u wat u need to hear & check to make sure if u have any other questions dat she can help u with she will be able to answer them. Like I said b4, "Dr. James & her lovely staff members are wonderful & great peoples." Don't miss out on them, go visit them, u won't be disappointed.

Renaissance Dental Group is a dental practice comprised of a first rate, brilliant dentist, Dr. Barbara James, a superb front office staff, and highly competent hygienists. All are friendly and steeped in excellent customer service. I have been a patient for over 10 years and all of my appointments and interactions have been very positive!
