Originally from Fair Lawn, NJ, Dr. Baqir Jaffery completed his undergraduate studies at Rutgers University with a B.S. in Biology and a minor B.A. in Psychology. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at UMDNJ-New Jersey Dental School in 2005. Dr. Jaffery then went on to complete a General Practice Residency in Paterson, NJ at St. Josephs Hospital. There he worked with top surgeons, prosthodontists, implant specialists, endodontists and periodontists on patients ranging from trauma to extensive oral rehabilitation and full mouth reconstruction.
Since then, Dr. Jaffery has been enjoying private practice in South Jersey. Dr. Jaffery remains dedicated to community service and volunteers at the Mission of Mercy in Philadelphia to serve the undeserved.
Dr. Jaffery is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and dental expertise to his patients. He especially enjoys keeping up with the various technological advances and integrating them into his clinical practice.
Dr. Jaffery is married and his wife is a board certified, dual doctorate Oral Surgeon. They have two children in elementary school. When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Jaffery enjoys exercising, fishing and a good slice of pizza and hot-wings.
Dr. Jaffery attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine receiving her dental degree in 2006. She received her M.D. degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in 2011 and subsequently completed two years of General Surgery residency at Hahnemann University Hospital. Dr. Jaffery is presently a licensed physician and dentist in the state of New Jersey, Dr. Jaffery completed her specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Drexel University College of Medicine. She served as Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Chief Resident from 2013-2014 at Hahnemann University Hospital and Saint Christophers Hospital for Children. Dr. Jaffery completed the board certification process and is a diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
She is a member of the American Medical Association, Pennsylvania Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Mid-Atlantic Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and New Jersey Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. She a
lso maintains membership in the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Jaffery especially enjoys teaching and mentoring both students and residents as she holds an adjunct faculty positions at both the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) residency program at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry (TUKSOD) and at the Virtua Health General Practice Residency in Camden, NJ.
She has been awarded NJ Top Dentist award as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon by her peers. Her residency training and private practice experience have prepared her for performing full scope Oral Surgery. She enjoys sharing advances to the field of implant dentistry with her patients. Her special interests include immediate placement of dental implants and full arch reconstruction.

I was seen in this office back in 12/2019 for an emergency visit (pain). Dr Jaffery was quick (how I like it) but when it was time to schedule a future appt, I was a little puzzled that 1) the front desk rep couldn't get me in for a routine cleaning within 2-3 months after I handle my pain issue, but, was offering me a dental restoration slot for a tooth that wasn't bothering me at the time. 2) She even quoted me for the procedure before I could even decline 3) She kept telling me that I had a deductible and that her system kept telling her to collect it from me. I ask her due I owe the money, she stated that the system just tells her to collect if it recognizes a deduct and wasn't sure. I asked her to bill me instead. a month later, my insurance paid the claim in full (glad I didn't have to wait for a refund). My point is, this office was just seeking to get paid and in my opinion was insensitive about current situation by offering me an appt that obviously would not have benefited me at the time. Last, I found a great HONEST dentist in my area. Beware of money hungry physicians!

Dr. Jaffery is literally the kindest doctor I have ever met. He is very caring and attentive. He took time to answer all my questions. He didn't just send me out to reception when he was done, he walked me there and stayed with me to answer any more questions I had. I felt that he really cared about me! His staff are kind and caring. I have a fear of dentists but the staff along with Dr. Jaffery made me feel much more relaxed. He will be my dentist forever and I will recommend him to everyone I know! Thank you all for helping to alleviate my fears and making this experience much, much better than I expected.
