We use digital radiography in order to reduce your exposure to radiation and provide large and clear images. Our staff delivers care with the aid of a surgical operating microscope, therefore allowing optimum visualization of teeth and their intricate root canal anatomy. Due to this technology, we have the ability to be able to more completely treat and more accurately diagnose many complex situations. Each treatment room includes state-of-the-art electronic apex locators, fiber optic illumination, ultrasonic instrumentation, and nickel titanium rotary instruments.

Dr. Shoushtari graduated magna cum laude from Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he was Class President. After dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He followed his passion and went on to receive his Certificate in Endodontics from the University of Southern California. Due to his success at USC, the Department of Endodonticsselected him to be Chief Resident. During his education and training, he has been fortunate to learn and be mentioned by world renowned endodontist such as Dr. Dudley Glick and Dr. James Simon.
Dr. Shoushtari believes that sound and proven science should form the basis of clinical decisions in order to provide quality care. He has contributed to academics during the different phases of his career. While at Harvard, he worked on a peptide vaccine against dental caries. At the University of Southern California, he co-authored the new Problem Based Learning Endodontics didactic curriculum. He continues teaching endodontics at USC and has lectured and presented at national and international meetings such as AADR, IADR, and CDA.

I had a great experience with Dr. Shoushtari! I was nervous to get a root canal, but he was patient with educating me about the procedure and post procedure cares. He is very knowledgeable and kind. I felt comfortable and at ease with him. I highly recommend him and his team!

I had a hard time with anxiety getting a root canal but Dr. Shoushtari was very calm, comforting and checked in to make sure I was not in pain. Would highly recommend him.

I don't do many reviews, but when someone really earns my sacrificing personal privacy I do. Dr Shoushtari is great, I wouldn't have a root canal for fun, but if I ever need another I won't go anywhere else.
