Dr. Whitener has a broad set of professional skills, which means you come to the same office during your entire treatment plan. If a specialist is required, you will be referred to a proven practitioner.
Dr Rahman completed her dental training at Boston University, Henry Goldman School of Dentistry, graduating in the top 10% of her class earning her D.M.D. degree in 2002. Upon completion of her licensing requirements here in Georgia, Dr. Rahman served as an Associate Dentist in a private practice in Buckhead from 2003 until 2013. In 2013 Dr. Rahman started her own practice which she sold in early 2020. She is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and Florida as well.

Best experience time after time. Every person in their office is a treat to work with. The doctors bedside manner, training, etc could not be better. I have recommended multiple people here. I was afraid of the dentist before I came to this office!!!
My family and I have been going to Dr. Whitener for 30 years. Although we moved away 5 years ago, I still go to him despite the very long drive, because he is the best! He is very experienced and I highly recommend him!
Dr. Whitener has been my dentist for ten years. Although I have to drive a distance to his office, I've found it very well worth it. His care is impeccable. His staff is kind and efficient. And his hygienists are thorough and skilled. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Ayesha Rahman is the best dentist to go too for all of your dental needs. She is very good at what she do. She is very down too earth and cares about her patients needs. She makes you feel like you are at home. I never like going to the dentist, but she make you feel like its nothing to worry about. She has the best patient/doctor relationship. I'm so pleased to recommend Dr. Rahman. I've been seeing her and only her for my dentistry for about four years. In fact, I've taken my elderly father to see her, and convinced my brother to drive very long distances to see her. And they both will continue to work with only her as well. Not only is she very pleasant to speak with, not only does she remember details about me and always seeks to make sure I'm comfortable (a vibrating chair and heavy weighted blanket don't hurt), but I have never in my near fifty-year-old life had a dentist who was any where close as talented Dr. Rahman at injections. Every other dentist rushed that process and often asinine things like shake my jaw/skull DURING injections, supposedly because it made it hurt less(???). No. Dr. Ayesha Rahman is leagues away more skilled with the anesthetic shots, than any I've experienced, and for that reason above many I have, I'll always go to her. Not the office she works at. Her. I'll follow her wherever she goes, probably short of needing a hotel stay to work with her. I highly recommend Dr. Rahman for dentist-phobic persons. Her shots have been 85% - 100% painless. No joke.

I am not usually one to wax poetic about a dentist but here we go. Staff is lovely and friendly and accommodating. Dr. Rahman is down to earth, funny, knowledgeable, and patient, making a trip to the dentist much less stressful, in fact, just short of enjoyable. I highly recommend!

Will telling y'all that my family and I drive an hour and a half to get our check-ups/cleanings and anything else in between be enough to convince y'all of how wonderful this place is?! Of course it is but I'm going to give y'all a tad bit more. We have been coming to LPFD for years! It all started with Betty, the office manager. Betty was the office manager for the orthodontist I got my braces years ago. When the office was sold because the orthodontist retired. There was no doubt in my mind, where ever Betty went my family and I had to follow. We are so happy and thankful that we did! Not only do we love, Betty but we love our Dr. Ayesha Rahman and her staff. Like Betty, Dr. Ayesha and her staff are absolutely amazing! They have always been friendly, kind and do an amazing job. Whether you are going there to get a check-up/cleaning or are in need of any other dental work. They get the job done with a touch of love, kindness and gentleness. Taphie, Manisa, Pam and now Brianna are our hygienist. We can't say enough about them either. They are, AWESOME! It doesn't matter who you see. From the moment you walk in you will be well taken care of. If you still have any doubts, don't! This place is wonderful. My family and I consider them more like family than just a dentist office. We always look forward to our visit even now that we have moved and have to travel an hour and a half to get there. So, Yes! Let them be the reason why you smile. Dr. Rahman was more than excellent. Wonderful demeanor, painless, very efficient and an excellent mechanic. She did multiple procedures in my mouth and I could barely tell that she had been there. Will recommend her to all of my friends and acquaintances. God bless her!!!! Robert Davis

Dr. Rahman has great chair side manners and makes each patient feel comfortable with any treatment. She's is very cautious with how the patient is feeling during her services. She is gentle to the touch and provides outstanding work on each of her patients. She's also very straight forward in explaining any dental health concerns and makes each person feel valued!!
