Dr. Avi Gibbermanis a native of Newport News, VA and comes from a family of dentists. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. He then received his Doctor in Dental Surgery, Magna Cum Laude, from Virginia Commonwealth University, finishing second in his dental school class. After dental school, he moved to Northern Virginia where he practiced family, cosmetic, and implant dentistry for five years. He has been very active with the Virginia Dental Association and has served both on the Northern Virginia Dental Society executive committee and the board of the Richmond Dental Society. Dr. Gibberman is clinically talented and committed to bringing to his patients the most current advances in the field of dentistry.
Dr. Gibberman is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Virginia Dental Association, the Richmond Dental Society, and the Hanover Dental Study Club.

There is no doubt in my mind that Dr. Gibberman and his his staff provide the best care in dentistry in the Glen Allen area. Let's face it, no one "Likes" going to the dentist, but it's essential to good health. This pandemic has created real challenges, but Dr. Gibberman's office provides strict attention in using proper safety protocol for his patients and the providers. Thank you!

He and his staff are amazing! My children don't mind going to the dentist because of his interpersonal skills. The staff is friendly and welcoming. My five year old was leery when she first started going and each visit they did what was necessary to put her at ease. Now she has no reservations. I could not recommend anyone more.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr Gibberman for years! He has seen us through so many dental issues and life events. He is always so patient, accommodating and professional. He never talks down to us and never makes us feel rushed. I feel very confident in the treatment that we receive from Dr. Gibberman and his wonderful staff and I can't recommend them enough!

I've been going to the same dentist for all of my life but she is in the transition of retiring and the office is no longer within my insurance network. Dr. Avi was wonderful! Super considerate, kind, and gentle and has a great sense of humor. I will be sticking with him from now on and I would highly recommend him to any of my friends.

This is long overdue. I was injured by a kettle chip that cut a deep gash in my lower palette / gum. I went to my PCP, paid a $45 co-pay only to be advised there was nothing they could do but refer me to an ENT. Disappointed and in disbelief I did not follow my PCP's recommendation. I made an appointment with Dr. Gibberman instead. He gave me a prescription for antibiotics and a mouth wash which he demonstrated how to use. The gash in my mouth was completely healed in about 5-6 days. I owe a great deal of thanks to my dentist...not my PCP. Dr. Gibberman is not one of, but the best dentist in Glen Allen VA, and perhaps the nation.

Dr. Gibberman is great even if he attended UVA. Make sure to ask about the giant VT you can still see on the wall in his office. The entire staff is great too.
