I became a dentist to solve problems for people. My goals are always to address my patientsconcerns and work with them to find the best path to optimal oral health. Im passionate about preventive dentistry and recognize that encouraging good oral homecare can prevent long-term dental health issues.

I come from a family of physicians and always knew I wanted to be part of the healthcare field. Becoming a dentist made sense, sinceit combines health sciences, aesthetics, and the development ofreal connections with people while improving their lives.

I especially enjoy partnering with patients to restore their oral health and, with it, their smile. When a patient and I get to the end of the process, its like he or she isa new person:healthier, enjoys life more, and hasa smile tolove ...and that the personloves to share!

I try my best to put people at ease, because I knowthe dental environment can be challenging for some. Each patient is unique, and I enjoy the diversity of the people I meet and spend time with. I like getting to know my patients on a personal level and building relationships with them.

With open communication, respect for each persons specific needs, goals, and concerns, and caring about their situation, I establish trust. My patients know I want whats best for them and am here to help them through education, encouragement, and painless dentistry.

One of the most exciting things about being a dentist, for me, arethe ongoing changes in technology and techniques. Throughout the year I complete many continuing dental and orthodontic courses, so we can constantly learnand expandthe services we provide. I want to offer patients the latest proven advances and ensure the maximum amount of comfort.

I feel we all need to be active in our communities:helping others and, in doing so, making our communities healthier and stronger. I volunteer with the Free Clinic and participate in various free dental days programsto providecare to the less fortunate.

Building trust with each patient is essential: It is the foundation of my identity as a dentist. Trust is the outcome of the years of my commitment to learning, being a perfectionist, keeping uptodate with current practices and above all building relationships so people know they are in safe hands.

I strive to provide exceptional care foreach and every patient I see. In turn, Im able to build lasting relationships with people. I truly care about thempersonally, and want only the best for them in their lives. I love meeting so many wonderful people, and especially enjoy working with families and seeing the kids grow up!

Since Im a general dentist, I love that I dont provide just one type of care. I have the opportunity to learn continually, expand my knowledge and skills, and meet peoples needs so they develop their healthiest, most attractive smile!

I enjoy oral surgeryas well as cosmetic and restorative processes. Improving someones lifeby relieving pain, restoring function, and creating a smile they love ...I do these things every day, for people I care about, and its amazing!

I love learning: It keeps me motivated andexcited, and keeps my brain sharp! I enjoy staying uptodate on new treatment options and technologies, so patients have access to the best care for their unique situation. Its my responsibility to provide proven care, and make sure every patient achieves his or herdental health goals.

Continuing education is my passion, so I attend every professional conference I can make. Ive also completed my Invisalign certification, a one-year implant dentistry continuum, and a two-year orthodontic program, and Im dental laser certified, too.

I think its important to support our community and help others. I enjoy volunteering my time and skills through free dental day programs, in which we offer free exams, X-rays, and a variety of procedures.

Ive lived here on the East Side since 1999, except for two years in San Francisco while I attendeddental school. My wonderful husband Ajay and I have been married for almost 20 years. We have three lovely daughters, including twins!

My family is everything to me. We enjoy our time together, whether were biking and hiking, gathering in the kitchen, or just relaxing together. I also love running several times a week and was a CrossFit enthusiast, though Im currently taking a break ...with every intention of going back at some point.

My philosophyas a dentistis to treat every patient with compassion, professionalism, and a gentle touch. I am committed to providing comprehensive, quality care while making sure patients are informed and comfortable with their treatment plan.

Each patient is unique, with very specific dental needs and personal concerns. Understanding the person, learning what they need from a visit and then providing it, is very rewarding. I love getting to know each patient and becoming their partner as they achieve their healthiest, most attractive smile.

I am particularly drawn to working with people who are anxious about seeing the dentist. Each of them has a complex reason for their worries, and I want to understand fully whatthey experienced and what theyre worried about. Im a good listener and do not judge: instead, I encourage my patients to tell me what theyre thinking and, together, we find a way through those fears.

Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything. As a dentist, I keep myself uptodate with the latest techniques and technologies by attending a range of continuing education courses. This helps me provide the best dental treatment optionsand experiencefor my patients.

I grew up in India, attended dental school there, and graduated in 2005. After practicing for a couple of years, I migrated to the U.S., completed my doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania in 2012, and practiced in Michigan for three years.

Then I was offered this wonderful opportunity to work with Drs. Arti and Ashi and their team, and so, along with my husband and two lovely daughters, I moved to Maple Valley! We love living here and being part of this community.
