Dr. Arthur Calvani received his dental education at the University of Pennsylvanias School of Dental Medicine, earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1993 before continuing on to Boston Universitys School of Dental Medicine for his orthodontic training.
As a member of the Central Jersey Dental Arts Study Club, Dr. Calvani attends numerous continuing education courses annually. He feels that staying on the forefront of technology is the backbone of giving patients quality and updated orthodontic care. Dr. Calvani participates in continuing education to make sure he provides the most technologically advanced orthodontic appliances.
Dr. Calvani is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, and the Central Jersey Dental Arts Study Club. He served as a Contract Orthodontist for the US Army in Katterbach, Germany from 1997 to 2001. Dr. Calvani has been practicing in the Edison/Metuchen area since 2001 and specializes in self-ligating appliances. He has also lectured at UMDNJ in Scotch Plains, NJ.
In the community, Dr. Calvani sponsors many local sports teams and participates in the Tomorrows Childrens Fund. Dr Calvani also gives free orthodontic exams at the yearly Metuchen fair, and is involved with a local soup kitchen.
