Dr. Arthur Calvani received his dental education at the University of Pennsylvanias School of Dental Medicine, earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1993 before continuing on to Boston Universitys School of Dental Medicine for his orthodontic training.
As a member of the Central Jersey Dental Arts Study Club, Dr. Calvani attends numerous continuing education courses annually. He feels that staying on the forefront of technology is the backbone of giving patients quality and updated orthodontic care. Dr. Calvani participates in continuing education to make sure he provides the most technologically advanced orthodontic appliances.
Dr. Calvani is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, and the Central Jersey Dental Arts Study Club. He served as a Contract Orthodontist for the US Army in Katterbach, Germany from 1997 to 2001. Dr. Calvani has been practicing in the Edison/Metuchen area since 2001 and specializes in self-ligating appliances. He has also lectured at UMDNJ in Scotch Plains, NJ.
In the community, Dr. Calvani sponsors many local sports teams and participates in the Tomorrows Childrens Fund. Dr Calvani also gives free orthodontic exams at the yearly Metuchen fair, and is involved with a local soup kitchen.

Went for my once a year check-up. As always,, staff was friendly, courteous and efficient. Dr. Calvani greeted me with his usual happy to see you smile and asked after my family. His work is impeccable and I left the office feeling well taken care of.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff!! Very clean office. Dr.Calvani takes his time to explain which route is most beneficial and why. He doesn't force anything on you, you don't have to commit on your first visit. They have earned my trust!

Dr. Calvani is an extremely knowledgeable and caring doctor. I have the smile because of him that I always wanted. The staff is beyond AMAZING and very efficient. I have never seen such clean and organized office. My son and I both had braces with Dr. Calvani and we have had the best experience with him. We are going to bring in my daughter also to be evaluated by him. We have had such a positive experience. Highest recommendations all around! Clean and well kept office and almost no wait time. All the staff members are wonderful and Dr Calvani is a great orthodontist. We were taken in promptly and were out in 15 minutes. That never happens in any other medical practices. This place is the best.

Dr. Calvini is so kind and very professional, he is wonderful with the kids and the office is very clean. The staff is exceptional and very accommodating. They always make time for urgent issues with the braces and Kim along with the rest of the staff are lovely to deal with. They go over everything in advance and always keep the parents in the loop on what to expect next and how the payment will work. I highly recommend this office!!! We found our orthodontist for life, all 3 of my kids will end up with braces, etc. from Dr. Calvani. They work with you so it's affordable and really are wonderful with the kids in every way.

Dr Calvani and his staff are amazing. He took time with my daughter , he was very patient explaining everything and did fantastic job. Our daughter's teeth looks beautiful. During the 2 years Dr Calvani and his staff were very caring, professional and we never had to wait for our appointments.Kim at the front desk will always find the best suitable time for your next appointment. They offer the most advance braces out on the market! I highly recommend Dr calvani!!

Dr. Calvani's office is everything you seek in an Orthodontist, fast, friendly, efficient and effective service. Kim and Lisa are very accommodating in scheduling appointments and changes, with evening hours most of the year. Kim was extremely helpful with navigating the dental insurance maze to maximize our benefits. Tammy is a skillful technician and Dr. Calvani's gentle hands guide the whole process. He worked with us to minimize the number of extractions needed for the orthodontia. We are very happy with our daughter's results.

Awesome!!!! My daughter got her braces here and Dr. Calvani is amazing..office staff is great and place is super clean and professional. Seriously...like a million times better than the Eastern Dental nightmare i had to deal with when my other 2 kids got braces. :-)

Dr Arthur Calvani and his amazing staff are incredible. Their kindness and compassion towards me was something I had never expected as an adult requiring treatment for braces. His office is conveniently located in Metuchen with ample parking. The front desk staff makes you feel right at home immediately when you walk through the door. The treatment was performed in a timely fashion and thoroughly explained from beginning to end. Emergency visits we also quickly accommodated. In all, it is an extremely professionally run office. I could not recommend them higher!
